The problem: The Malfunction Indicator Lamp on the dashboard may illuminate. Technicians may find trouble codes set in the Powertrain Control Module memory. This problem is due to a software glitch, and it can be eliminated with a PCM software update.
Corrective action: Dealers will update the Powertrain Control Module software with a program that eliminates the problem.
Warranty info: This repair is covered under the new vehicle warranty.
