The problem: Vehicles may stall at low speeds because of a software glitch in the engine management system. The glitch can cause a rich air-fuel mixture in the fuel injection, which leads to disconnection of the PCV hose.
Corrective action: Dealers will reprogram the engine management system software.
Warranty info: This service is being performed free of charge under Mitsubishi’s limited new-vehicle or extended warranty, whichever applies.
