New for 2014
The Limited trim level now comes standard with heated and cooled front seats, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel and push-button start. There’s also a new lane departure warning and prevention system for Limited and SHO models. The system gives audible and visual alerts if the car drifts over visible lane markings and can use the electrically assisted power steering to help the car stay in its lane.

Taurus SHO
Ford revived an old trim with the Taurus SHO — it stands for Super High Output — which effectively caps the Taurus lineup from a performance and luxury standpoint. The SHO swaps the Taurus’ standard drivetrain for a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 with direct injection.
