The face of Audi will soon have a new look, heralded by a now-unnamed concept car debuting at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Audi welcomed a new head of design earlier in the year, and Audi’s latest concept is the new guy’s first bit of work; it’s nothing too complicated, just launching a new era of design for Audi.
The under-lit concept shows bulging fenders on all four corners and what looks like an aggressive rear roofline. Audi says its core competencies of sportiness, lightweight and all-wheel drive have a high level of importance in the new design. Audi’s current lineup is an attractive bunch, and Audi’s booming sales seem to prove that shoppers agree. We’ll have more coverage when the concept debuts on Nov. 19 during the auto show’s media days; the show is open to the public Nov. 21-30.
