2015 Chrysler 200: Explaining the Trim Levels
A redesigned player enters the mid-size sedan segment about twice a year, making it one of the most hotly contested segments as well as a best-selling one. The current-generation Chrysler 200’s sales for 2013 were 122,480, which was near the bottom of the mid-size sedan segment. The Chrysler garnered roughly a third of the Honda Accord’s 366,678 yearly sales, which is the country’s second best-seller to the Toyota Camry and its 408,484 in yearly sales.
The 2015 Chrysler 200 only has one direction to go when it hits Chrysler dealerships this spring. Potential buyers of the slickly styled redesigned mid-size sedan will be confronted with varying standard features on the four trims levels, including two engine choices and front- or all-wheel drive.
There are some show-stopping standard features like keyless entry and keyless start, but items such as map lights aren’t available until you’ve moved up to the second-highest trim level. - Chrysler 200 LX $22,695
Basics: A 184-horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine; nine-speed automatic transmission; 60/40-split folding rear seats; 17-inch steel wheels; body-colored door handles and side mirrors; power windows with driver’s window automatic up/down operation; and a tilt/telescoping steering wheel
Interior & Tech: Steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, USB input and four-speaker stereo system
Miscellaneous: Keyless entry, keyless start, LED taillights and rear armrest with cupholders
Options: UConnect 5.0 adds the multimedia system that’s standard on the Limited and higher trims.
- Chrysler 200 Limited $24,250
Basics: The Limited trim adds 17-inch aluminum wheels and automatic up/down operation for the front windows to the LX features.
Interior & Tech: Bluetooth connectivity and six-speaker Uconnect 5.0 multimedia system with 5-inch touch-screen
Miscellaneous: Compass gauge and compact spare tire
Options: For this trim, the Comfort Group adds dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, rear vents, auto-dimming rearview mirror and remote start. The Convenience Group adds power heated side mirrors, leather-wrapped steering wheel, a backup camera, power driver’s seat and illuminated vanity mirrors.
- Chrysler 200S $25,490
Basics: The sport-oriented Chrysler 200 S trim level adds the following to the Limited trim: sport suspension, more aggressive transmission, paddle shifters, 18-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps, heated folding side mirrors and map lights.
Interior & Tech: No additions from Limited trim
Miscellaneous: Dual exhaust tips, acoustic front door glass and black grille
Optional: A 295-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine is a single available option. The Comfort Group for this trim includes dual-zone automatic climate control, rear climate controls and ducts, auto-dimming rearview mirror, remote start, backup camera, heated steering wheel and illuminated vanity mirrors. The Premium Lighting Group adds high-intensity-discharge headlamps with LED running lamps and fog lamps. The Navigation and Sound Group adds the Uconnect 8.4 multimedia system with Bluetooth, navigation, 506-watt amplifier, 8.4-inch touch-screen display, nine-speakers and subwoofer; auto-dimming rearview mirror; and a 7-inch digital gauge cluster.
- Chrysler 200S AWD $29,690
Basics: When you opt for the 200 S with all-wheel drive, the V-6 engine is standard, as is an eight-way power driver’s seat with four-way power lumbar.

Options: Same as 200 S.
- Chrysler 200C $26,990
Basics: The top trim level doesn’t feature the sport suspension or standard paddle shifters of the S trim, but the 200C adds a leather interior, backup camera, remote start, dual-zone climate control, rear climate controls and ducts, auto-dimming rearview mirror, illuminated vanity mirrors and heated front seats. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder is standard.
Interior & Tech: 7-inch digital gauge cluster
Miscellaneous: Footwell lamp and universal garage door opener
Optional: The 3.6-liter V-6 engine is a single available option. The Premium Group adds heated two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel, premium leather seats with ventilation, and real wood and chrome interior accents. The Premium Lighting Group adds high-intensity-discharge headlamps with LED running lamps and fog lamps. Basics: Like the S trim, when you opt for the 200C with all-wheel drive, the 295-hp V-6 engine is standard. Paddle shifters, 18-inch polished aluminum wheels and dual exhaust tips are also standard.
