2016 Audi A5: What's New

Vehicle Overview

The four-seat A5 coupe and Cabriolet convertible are based on the A4 sedan and aimed at fellow two-door luxury models like the BMW 4 Series, Cadillac ATS coupe and Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe. Audi offers a performance version of the A5, the S5, that targets sports cars like the Porsche Boxster and Cayman.

New for 2016
The S line exterior trim is now standard, and Premium Plus models now include a Bang & Olufsen sound system. A red top is available for the convertible.

S5
As with Audi’s other car lines, the German automaker offers an S version of the A5 with higher performance credentials. Like the A5, the S5 is available as a coupe or convertible, but under the hood is a 333-horsepower, supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine instead of a turbo four-cylinder.
