CARS.COM

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 200 model-year 2017-18 BMW M760Li xDrive luxury performance sedans

The Problem: An incorrect engine oil cooler line may have been installed, causing an oil leak in the engine compartment. If oil leaks onto the front brake discs, a greater distance may be needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the engine oil cooler line for free.

What Owners Should Do: BMW will begin notifying owners Aug. 7. Owners can call the automaker at 800-525-7417, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
