Vehicles Affected: Approximately 370 model-year 2017 Chrysler Pacifica lowered-floor minivans modified by Vantage Mobility for wheelchair accessibility
The Problem: The rear brake lines might have been crossed during the modification, which would cause the rear antilock brake system to be ineffective, increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Vantage Mobility will correct the rear brake line attachments for free.
What Owners Should Do: Vantage Mobility will begin notifying owners July 7. Owners can call the company at 800-488-9082, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
