CARS.COM — Mini announced a new special-edition version of its Hardtop Cooper and Cooper S models with a name that gives a nod to the brand’s past and present. In 1959, the car known today as the classic Mini was introduced as the Austin Seven. In 2017, the Seven special-edition trim joins the lineup.
Outside, Mini Seven special-edition color choices include Lapisluxury Blue, Pepper White, Midnight Black metallic and British Racing Green metallic. Accenting the body, the roof and exterior mirror caps are finished in Melting Silver with matching hood stripes. The Seven rides on 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels encircling the Seven logo. Badging that features the word “Seven” and numeral is found inside and out.
Inside, the Seven features sport seats trimmed in a Diamond Malt Brown fabric-and-leather upholstery combination. Other upholstery color choices include Cross Punch Carbon Black leather, Lounge Satellite Grey leather and Carbon Black leather. Trim material choices include Dark Cottonwood, Fibre Alloy and Off-White.
The Seven will be available in both two-door and four-door trims and will go on sale in late summer. Pricing has not yet been announced. Check out the gallery below.
