When it comes to hauling family and cargo, there's nothing better than a seven-passenger, three-row SUV. We were recently just outside Phoenix, where we brought some of the biggest, best and newest SUVs for a head-to-head competition in our 2018 Full-Size SUV Challenge. We got four 2018 models: the Chevrolet Tahoe, the Ford Expedition, the Nissan Armada and the Toyota Sequoia.
After spending extended time with each vehicle and logging many miles through the Tonto National Forest, we gathered our judges, tallied their scores and declared the winner: the 2018 Ford Expedition.
Here's why: Our judges liked the more stylish look of the new Expedition, along with the fact that it was our biggest three-row competitor in this Challenge. Of course, that kind of size directly translates into massive amounts of second- and third-row legroom as well as enormous amounts of rear cargo space, with a cool push-button fold-flat third row.
What else helped the Expedition nab the crown for this Challenge? How did the other SUVs perform? Watch the rest of the video above to find out.
