2019 Mazda3: Recall Alert

2019 Mazda3

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 22,600 model-year 2019 Mazda3 sedans and hatchbacks equipped with manual dimming mirrors

The Problem: The adhesive between the interior rearview mirror and the housing may not be properly bonded, allowing the mirror to detach from the housing, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the interior rearview mirror assembly for free.

What Owners Should Do: Mazda will begin notifying owners Aug. 30. Owners can call the automaker at 800-222-5500, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
