2020 Kia Telluride: Recall Alert

2020 Kia Telluride

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 30,100 model-year 2020 Kia Telluride SUVs

The Problem: The seat belt assemblies in the front passenger, second- and third-row seats may not tightly secure a child restraint system in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect the vehicles and replace any incorrect seat belt assemblies for free.

What Owners Should Do: Kia will begin notifying owners Aug. 30. Owners can call the automaker at 800-333-4542, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
