2023 Genesis Electrified G80 Priced at Just Over $80,000
While the all-new GV60 electric SUV has grabbed most of the headlines, another all-electric Genesis may have slipped under your radar: the Electrified G80. Based on the G80 sedan, the Electrified G80 is getting something of a soft launch in the U.S., with only one trim level and no options beyond exterior paint and interior upholstery color choices. Prices will start at $80,920 (including destination but excluding any federal, state or local tax incentives).

Using a 136-kilowatt electric motor on each axle, the Electrified G80 comes standard with all-wheel drive. Genesis estimates power at 365 horsepower and 516 pounds-feet of torque. As of this writing, total range has not been certified by the EPA; however, it’s estimated at 282 miles by the manufacturer.
Genesis says the Electrified G80’s 87.2-kilowatt-hour battery can go from 10% to 80% charged in as little as 22 minutes when using a 350-kW DC fast charger. A full charge using a Level 2 240-volt home charger rated at 48 amps can be achieved in 7 hours, 22 minutes. The Electrified G80 is also capable of vehicle-to-load charging, meaning it can charge or power other electric devices.
Additional standard features include Genesis’ Highway Driving Assist safety suite, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Nappa leather upholstery, three-zone automatic climate control with heated and ventilated front seats, a head-up display and more.
Like the GV60, the Electrified G80 will only be sold in California, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York at first, with sales beginning in Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Washington in September.
