The Luxury trim is powered by the four-cylinder engine and comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, a Bose eight-speaker system and dual-zone climate control. For safety, the XT5 is equipped with Cadillac’s Teen Driver system, lane departure warning, lane departure steering assist, and forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection.
The Premium Luxury trim upgrades to 20-inch polished wheels, a Bose 14-speaker system and added conveniences like a hands-free power liftgate, leather seating, and the Memory Package, which saves settings for the power driver’s seat, mirrors and steering column. Safety features include blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
The Sport trim features the V-6 engine and standard AWD, as well as Brembo performance brakes, 20-inch wheels and exterior enhancements like gloss-black roof rails and red brake calipers for a sportier look.
Cadillac’s advanced technology suite ensures the XT5 keeps drivers connected and safe. A standard 8-inch touchscreen with a rotary controller offers features like cloud-based voice recognition and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. All trims come with four USB ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and OnStar services with eight years of Automatic Crash Response and three years of OnStar Premium for enhanced safety and connectivity.
The XT5 also offers a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds when equipped with the available Smart Towing Package and the V-6; the four-cylinder offers a 1,000-pound maximum towing capacity.
