Key Points

  • The 2026 Lucid Gravity Touring offers less power and a smaller battery in the same package as the Gravity Grand Touring.
  • Up to 337 miles of range
  • Costs $15,000 less than the Grand Touring trim

Lucid makes awfully impressive EVs, whether it’s the Air sedan or the new Gravity SUV. What Lucid does not make is terribly affordable EVs, but the new 2026 Gravity Touring moves that needle in the right direction. With a base price of $81,550 (price includes $1,650 destination fee), the new Touring trim, which is appearing at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show, cleaves more than $15,000 off the Grand Touring variant that launched the Gravity.

Largely the Same

Other than its battery pack and motor output, the Gravity is largely the same in Touring trim as it is in Grand Touring form. Like the Grand Touring, the new Touring is available in five- and seven-seat configurations and rides on a standard adjustable-height air suspension. The Dynamic Handling Package, which adds rear-wheel steering and trick three-chamber air springs for a different ride in each of the drive modes, is optional on the Touring as it is on the Grand Touring. Staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels are standard, with 21s/22s and 22s/23s available.

Spot the Differences

As with the Air lineup, the growing Gravity family is delineated according to each trim’s powertrain. The $96,550 Grand Touring has two electric motors generating a combined 828 horsepower and 909 pounds-feet of torque and good for what Lucid claims is a 3.4-second sprint from 0-60 mph. With a 123-kilowatt-hour battery pack, it boasts an EPA-rated range of up to 450 miles.

What the Touring offers for $15,000 less is still plenty impressive. Its dual motors serve up a total of 560 hp and 811 pounds-feet of torque; Lucid says drivers will only have to wait another 0.6 second to hit 60 mph, with a claimed time of four seconds flat. The Touring’s battery pack holds just 89 kWh, making for a best range of 337 miles with the standard wheel setup, per Lucid; with the upsize wheel options, range drops to a projected 301 miles. However, Lucid’s fast-charging times are among the best in the industry, and the automaker says the Gravity can add 200 miles of range in as little as 15 minutes on a 300-kilowatt DC fast charger. Additionally, the Gravity Touring loses a good bit of towing capacity; while the Grand Touring can haul up to 6,000 pounds, the Touring can tow only 3,500 pounds.
