The 2024 Audi A7 lineup is receiving a face-lift. The coupelike hatchback sees upgrades to its exterior and interior trim, infotainment system and special packages, as well as changes for the performance RS 7 variant. The price of the newest A7 is also seeing a bump up to $72,295 (all pricing includes $1,095 destination charge).

With a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, the base A7 generates 335 horsepower, and the midrange S7 variant generates 444 hp off a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V-6. The top-of-the-line RS 7 now has a 621-hp, twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 under its hood. The A7’s engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission, while the sportier S7 and high-performance RS 7 are paired with an eight-speed automatic. All of the models in this lineup come with standard all-wheel drive.

Upgraded Tech and Enhanced Equipment

For 2024, Audi is rebadging the RS 7 as the RS 7 Performance, shedding weight and adding horsepower over the 2023 model year. To do that, Audi removed more than 17 pounds of damping material and boosted output by 30 hp in the Sportback. The RS 7’s Executive Package upgrade is available for 2024  and includes heated rear seats, remote parking assist features and a leather-wrapped center console, door sills, armrests and instrument panel.

The Executive Package — available on Premium Plus trims and standard on the Prestige trim — is returning to the rest of the lineup, as well, with the addition of traffic sign recognition technology and dual-pane acoustic glass, according to Audi. Buyers also will be able to upgrade their base A7 or S7 with the Convenience Package, which now includes an adaptive cruise control display among other returning high-tech components. The display remains standard on Premium Plus and Prestige trim levels, along with the RS 7 variant. Also included in the standard equipment of these higher trim levels is new LED interior lighting.

Audi also continues to offer a six-month trial of its all-encompassing infotainment system subscription, Audi Connect Plus. The subscription includes access to remote start, roadside assistance, Wi-Fi, traffic information, weather, news, Amazon Alexa and Amazon music.

Bronze Edition

With only 50 units being made, Audi will release a limited Bronze Edition of the RS 7 Performance. The special edition includes Sebring Black exterior paint, matte-gold 22-inch wheels, a Gloss Carbon Optic Exterior Package, the Audi Exclusive Leather Package, seat trim and floormats with bronze stitching, and Audi’s adaptable sport suspension and sport exhaust.

New Design

All the way down to the wheels, the A7 and S7 are getting a few exterior and interior refreshes for the 2024 model year. Both variants will receive new standard honeycomb-patterned front grilles, along with new wheel designs, exterior colors and interior inlays to choose from.

For the S7, Ascari Blue Metallic replaces Ultra Blue Metallic; Grenadier Red Metallic replaces Tango Red Metallic on both the A7 and S7. The RS 7  gets bespoke exterior trim in a matte-gray finish, including the window surround, mirror housing, rear diffuser wing, front grille flaps and blade. These details will also be available in a carbon-matte finish.

The optional RS Design Package Plus, which previously offered red or gray accents, is now adding blue to the lineup of color choices. The package’s included seat belt edging and accented stitching on seats, armrests, floormats, center console and steering wheel can be chosen in one of those three available colors for 2024. For just the new blue RS Design Package Plus, buyers will see blue-tinted carbon fiber in their interior trim.
