If you were watching TV last night you probably saw one of GM’s new 72 Hour Sale commercials touting the 0%-down-for-six-years deal we told you about yesterday. We were wondering why it’s called the 72 Hour Sale when it runs from now through July 5th. But you were probably wondering how much 0% payments would cost you every month.

Cars.com has a handy calculator for loan payments attached to every price page. So when you go to the Research section and look up a 2006 GM vehicle, simply click the tab that says “Prices, Payments, Rebates” and scroll down to the handy calculator shown here.

We whipped one up for the base price of a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt, $12,400, with 0% financing for 72 months. The result is $172.22 a month. Or for the more adventurous, a new Pontiac GTO at $31,290 will ding your paycheck $434.58 a month. Don’t mind any mentions of other rebates that might be posted on these pages, we didn’t have time to add this last-second sale to our system.
