Cadillac Reveals Precision Package for 2025 CT5-V Blackwing

Cadillac’s 668-horsepower supercharged CT5-V Blackwing is already one of the most capable four-doors on the planet, and the most powerful super-sedan to still offer a manual transmission. It was refreshed for 2025 with upgraded interior tech and more standard safety features, and now, Cadillac has announced an optional package that further sharpens the car for a fringe subset of buyers: those wishing to hit the track in their 4,300-pound family shuttle.

A Name Based in Reality, Not Marketing

The Precision Package changes nothing about the way the Blackwing looks; what it changes is only visible from underneath the car and appreciable from behind the wheel. The package includes carbon-ceramic brakes, which are also available as a stand-alone option on the CT5-V, as well as stiffer front and rear springs, a stiffer front stabilizer bar and revised suspension bushings. New steering knuckles and rear toe links allow owners to set a more aggressive alignment for track driving, and electronic chassis-control systems — adaptive dampers, limited-slip differential and power steering — have been revised, as well.

The package’s changes are aimed at increasing steering precision and vehicle stability during track driving. The company is careful to note, however, that the Precision Package achieves these ends “without compromising the luxury and refinement that define the Cadillac brand.”
