We’ve recently heard about the success Ford is having with its new SYNC handsfree system. The automaker is using the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this weekend to show off some enhancements to SYNC, as well as showing what we can expect in navigation and entertainment technology. Unfortunately, Ford is keeping mum on the updates to SYNC until Sunday.

By the end of 2008, Ford promises nearly every of its vehicle will offer SYNC as an option. Currently only 13 models offer it.

The company will also display its new navigation system (as seen in the new Lincoln MKS at the L.A. auto show) which connects with Sirius satellites to provide traffic, movie times and even routes to the cheapest gas in your area. We’ll have more on all the revelations on Monday.
