GM Says Camaro SS Transmission Problem Fixed

GM says the transmission trouble is confined to a limited number of vehicles, and that it usually occurs during standing starts when hard acceleration pushes the engine to 5,000-6,000 rpm. Only a dozen owners reported the problem.

GM says the issue has been resolved at the Oshawa, Ontario, plant where the SS is made, and that no recall will be issued.
