How Much Is the 2026 Volvo XC60?

The Volvo XC60 gets a minor face-lift for 2026, with a new grille, fresh wheel designs and an overhauled interior. Well, the interior design is mostly unchanged aside from the larger 11.2-inch touchscreen that replaces the old 9-inch display, but Volvo says the materials are all-new. Either way, the XC60’s distinctive cabin remains stylish even eight model years since the SUV’s last major redesign. The 2026 Volvo XC60 starts at $50,995 (all prices include $1,295 destination charge).

Powertrain Specs and MPG
Volvo’s luxury compact SUV is available with two powertrain choices: the mild-hybrid B5 or T8 plug-in hybrid.
- B5: Turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine; 247 horsepower and 266 pounds-feet of torque; eight-speed automatic transmission; all-wheel drive
- T8: Turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with electric motor; total of 455 hp and 523 pounds-feet of torque; eight-speed automatic transmission; AWD
Volvo says the XC60 B5 returns the same EPA-rated 23/30/26 mpg city/highway/combined as the 2025 model (official EPA estimates are not yet available). With an 18.8-kilowatt-hour battery, the brand says the PHEV T8 boasts 35 miles of electric range and is rated at 28 mpg combined.

Trim Levels
Other than their powertrains, the B5 and T8 XC60s are largely the same. The Core trims ride on 18-inch wheels and feature keyless entry and start, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a panoramic moonroof and a power liftgate. The interior is upholstered in synthetic leather and boasts heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting and a crystal shift knob. Standard cabin tech consists of wireless phone charging, 10 speakers, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the new 11.2-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay.
All safety gear available on the XC60 is standard on the Core trim. That includes forward collision warning with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure steering assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, and front and rear parking sensors.
The Plus adds 19-inch wheels, upgraded ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera system and side proximity sensors to keep the driver from side-swiping anything during tight maneuvers.
The B5 range tops out with the Ultra trim, which includes 20-inch wheels, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, four-zone automatic climate control, upgraded interior finishes and adjustable thigh support on the driver’s seat. Based on the Ultra, the Black Edition is available in a limited exterior color palette and features black 21-inch wheels, black exterior trim, and a black Nappa leather interior with ventilated front seats.
Only available with the potent T8 powertrain, the XC60 Polestar Engineered trim rides on an updated suspension with tweaked springs, Ohlins shock absorbers and unique 21-inch wheels. In addition to gold accents inside and out, it also gains aluminum cabin trim, front sport seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
