What Car Shoppers Need to Know

  • The 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 is an all-new three-row electric SUV.
  • Buyers in September can take $7,000 off or pay 0% interest for up to 72 months.
  • Lessees can get $15,000 off and pay as little as $429 per month.

There are many reasons to be excited about Hyundai’s new flagship EV, the Ioniq 9. Hyundai and its sister brand Kia have won our Best Electric Vehicle of the Year award four years straight. The last two years, the winner has been the Kia EV9, which shares its platform with the Ioniq 9. This September, there is another highly compelling reason to consider Hyundai’s electric three-row SUV: big savings. All offers outlined below are valid until Sept. 30.

Cash Deals

Consumer Rebate: $7,000

Hyundai is offering buyers of the 2026 Ioniq 9 $7,000 off in two ways. Those who have secured outside financing or are paying cash can simply take seven grand off the purchase price. Those who are financing their purchase through Hyundai’s captive lender, Hyundai Motor Finance, can bundle the $7,000 rebate with a limited-time low interest rate (see chart in the Finance Deals section). Based on the base price (including destination charge) of the entry-level Ioniq 9 S with single-motor rear-wheel drive, the $7,000 rebate represents 11.6% off.

Finance Deals

Buyers who can do without the $7,000 rebate up front can save even more than that on their Ioniq 9. The interest rate, or annual percentage rate, is the amount a lender charges you for borrowing money. In this case, 0% interest for 72 months will save buyers roughly $4,000 more over the life of the loan than the combination offer of rebate and APR, even on a base Ioniq 9.

Note that buyers cannot combine the $7,000 rebate with 0% financing. They can take either the $7,000 rebate, 0% financing, or the $7,000 rebate with 5.69% financing for up to 60 months and 6.39% for 72 months.

Program 24-Month APR 36-Month APR 48-Month APR 60-Month APR 72-Month APR
Stand-alone APR 0% 0% 0% 0% 0%
APR + $7,000 bonus cash 5.69% 5.69% 5.69% 5.69% 6.39%

Lease Deals

Lease Cash: Up to $15,000

The language for rebates/cash-back payments is different for leases than for purchases, but the effect is the same. Lease cash lowers the capitalized cost, which is the value of the vehicle upon which lease payments are based. A lower capitalized cost means lower monthly payments.

Hyundai’s lease cash offers this month depend on trim level and the length of the lease. The maximum $15,000 offer applies to 36-month leases on the S, SE, Limited and Calligraphy trims. Lessees of the SEL or those who opt for 24- or 48-month leases qualify for a lower cash offer. Factoring in the maximum amount of lease cash results in a payment of just $429 per month on a base Ioniq 9 S, with $4,999 due at signing. Leases covered by this offer all include an allowance of 10,000 miles per year.

Trim Term (Months) Monthly Payment Due at Signing Yearly Mileage Allowance
SE AWD 36 $429 $4,999 10,000
