Sometimes, 30 years seem like not so long a time, but when you look at how much cars have changed since 1981, you realize that we live in the brave new world that many were predicting way back when.
In 1981, John Davis and Maryland Public Television launched “MotorWeek,” and now the folks there are celebrating this season with a new 30th anniversary DVD. The DVD highlights, as they say, “the fast, the furious and the just plain funny” over all those years. Among the highlights are a look back at the very first episode, an in-depth look at Ferraris and a muscle-car comparison.
