New Curated by Cadillac Program Offers Extensive Customization Options for 2026 CT5-V Blackwing
If you’ve been worried about the employment prospects for the gaggle of fashionistas, designers and artisans Cadillac onboarded to usher Celestiq buyers through the process of optioning their hand-built hatchbacks, fret no more: With production targets for its $300,000-plus all-electric flagship reportedly having plummeted from the hundreds to just over two dozen for 2025, Cadillac has found a new use for its merry band: Curated by Cadillac. The new program is debuting on the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing.
Analysis Paralysis With an Appointed Decider
Available on only a limited number of vehicles (Cadillac won’t say how limited), Curated by Cadillac massively expands the menu of paints, interior colors and materials buyers can choose from. Whereas 2026 CT5-V Blackwing customers can pick from nine exterior colors, the Curated program includes more than 160 hand-applied hues in myriad finishes ranging from glossy to matte. Cadillac says the diverse roster of interior colors and materials opens up “millions of different combinations … as individual and unique as each client.”
As with the Celestiq, Curated by Cadillac doesn’t simply drop buyers into a pool of choices. Each is appointed a “Cadillac concierge” who will help them avoid making egregious decisions or point out where tripling down on tasteless will elevate the result to a plane immune to critique. Each Curated by Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will be hand-built at Cadillac’s Artisan Center on the GM design and tech campus in Warren, Mich.

Release Date and Pricing
Cadillac is inaugurating the new program immediately, with Curated by Cadillac orders opening later in August. The brand is coy about exactly how much the experience will cost, and a base price is, frankly, meaningless anyway. The whole point is customization, and each individual choice will likely come with a unique price tag. But the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing starts at $101,195 (all prices include destination), and Cadillac suggests that Curated cars will open at approximately $158,000. Potential clients will get a chance to preview a sample CT5-V Blackwing at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on Aug. 14-15.
