Kia finally addressed this fossil of a model. Earlier this month, the automaker released sketches that show off the exterior and interior designs of a hatchback Rio.
This Rio successor will be longer, lower and wider than the existing Rio, according to Kia. It was designed by the same German designer who recently put his imprint on the 2011 Kia Optima and 2011 Kia Sportage. Overall, the design looks to be more curvaceous than those two models, though the new corporate mesh grille is clearly present.
We’ll have a clearer picture of the new Rio when the vehicle is officially unveiled March 1 at the 2011 Geneva International Motor Show.
