Vehicles Affected: Approximately 4,700 model-year 2012-15 XK sports cars manufactured March 4, 2011, to March 20, 2014
The Problem: In these vehicles, the front parking lights may turn off after approximately 5 minutes. This decreases visibility and increases the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will update the software that controls the lights for free.
What Owners Should Do: Jaguar will begin notifying owners on March 13. Owners can call Jaguar at 800-452-4827 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at 888-327-4236 for more information.
