As the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit edges ever closer to opening, we are learning more and more about what to expect. An early surprise is Chrysler’s announcement that it’ll return to the compact sedan segment for the first time in seven years with the 2013 Dodge Dart. The storied nameplate will now carry three four-cylinder powertrains and three transmission types, include a high-performance turbocharged R/T trim.
