We’ve had our new 2011 Chevrolet Volt long-term tester for a little over two weeks and little quirks are already starting to peek up from under the hood. One of the main reasons we got a Volt was to experience how the car performs in Chicago’s harsh winter. One of the first things we’ve noticed is the gasoline engine turns on intermittently, even when the Volt has a full battery charge.
