TomTom has also brought an iPhone and iPod Touch window-mounting cradle to market. This brings enhanced GPS on the iPhone, full GPS support with the iPod Touch, a speakerphone and easy charging of all devices. Pricing and availability of the cradle are yet to be announced. A stand-alone TomTom unit with a similar-size screen to the iPhone — the TomTom One 140S — retails for $199. Other navigation apps strictly for the iPhone vary in cost from $10 a month to flat fees up to $80.
We’ll have a full-length review very soon, so stay tuned. For those of you who can’t wait for the review, here’s the iTunes link for the app.
