Excellent process from start to finish. Best car buying experience I've ever been a part of. Andrew was very professional but equally as personable. Well informed salesman. Ryan in finance made the purchasing part of the process very tolerable. Great personality, Very organized and very informative. Went to dealer 2xs. Pointed out serious flaws. Vehicle had 92,000 miles so no CPO warranty (no problem) but refused to complete major 90,000 service. In addition added 1 new tire , making vehicle inherently unsafe. When asked about this, the sr sales mgr came out. I made a reasonable offer, there was no counter or accountability that all the risk was on me, they basically stated they don’t do that since it’s not certified but poor business to sell 4 runner with sub par conditions. . (Vehicle on lot for 2 months) so may have more issues !!! Shocked there was no counter offer.

Michele, unfortunately this simply isn't true. Of course the vehicle wasn't certified at 90K and we're not sure where you got what needed to be done at 90K as you stated the vehicle needed certain flushes which we don't even do. All 90K recommendations from Toyota from a factory certified technician were performed. It sounds like the issue was you wanted $5,991 off the price and we simply don't have that kind of markup in the vehicle as it is already priced right in the market. I would love to still offer some type of help (although Matt who you spoke with offered a 1 year powertrain warranty for free due to your concerns) but unfortunately we sold the vehicle the same day you left. If there's any other vehicle we have on ground that you're interested in please don't hesitate to reach out and I would love to help in some way. He let me take my time and answered every question I had without ever rushing me. When it came time to do the paperwork he made the whole thing painless and had me out the door way faster than I expected. If you're at Fred Anderson Toyota in Charleston, ask for Andrey.
