We had been in the market for a Hyundai Genesis for...

We had been in the market for a Hyundai Genesis for several months when we decided to check the used inventory at Rick Case Hyundai Duluth's online website, and found a black 2012 Genesis R-Spec w/ less than 10K miles. We immediately called to confirm that the vehicle was still available before driving up to the lot, and spoke with Brandon Calvin who confirmed that it was there. Brandon held onto the keys until we arrived about an hour later. Brandon greeted us with a very professional demeanor and immediately took us to see the R-Spec. The car was in pristine, near perfect condition, and drove like a charm on our test drive. Throughout the entire paperwork process, Brandon was very professional and sold us on paying to have the car CPO'd in order to reinstate Hyundai's original 10-year 100K mile warranty, and take advantage of Rick Case's 20-year 200K mile power train warranty. Karrie Ramel handled our financing of our new Genesis with the utmost professionalism, and managed to keep our payment within our target range. We have already committed to making our next vehicle purchase (an Audi S5) from Rick Case based on our overwhelmingly positive experience with RC Hyundai Duluth. John & Ferihan T.

I have been getting solicitations to swap my Tuscon back...

I have been getting solicitations to swap my Tuscon back in for a lease on a new vehicle. I was pretty skeptical since my lease is not up for over eight months. But, it appeared I could actually get a new vehicle (wanted to switch to a Sonata) and avoid end of lease issues like over mileage, damage, etc. Curtis was prompt and courteous and, most importantly, was not pushy. He took the time to show us several vehicles and catered to my family for a great test drive experience. Curtis and the other folks stayed well after closing to get my new vehicle ready. Everything went very smooth. No surprises. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of turning in their leased vehicle early to speak to Curtis. I was very happy with the deal. I got a better vehicle and I even saved some money on my lease payment and (my stipulation) didn’t give them a dime! Great experience.

My wife and I had been to many dealerships in the last...

My wife and I had been to many dealerships in the last month all over metro Atlanta, and this dealership by far is the most untrustworthy of them all. The first thing we always tell the sales person is we aren't going to buy a car for a least 6 months, and we are just looking at different options. Every time each sales person has been very helpful in letting us sit in the cars, providing information about the cars, and pleasant at the various places. We thought Rick Case was going to be the same experience, however when we got there they insisted we test drive the car we were looking at. Once we were done we went inside the showroom and I advised the sales person and the financial manager, Casey Lloyd, of our situation. We knew that due to our current situation, that we were not in position to drive a car of the lot that night. I also advised that when I buy a car I want to be in position where my car note was $75-$100 less than it is now. I was then advised that if they did a small soft credit inquiry they would be able to tell me would needed to be done to help me get to my goal. At that moment I specifically told them I didn't want a hard credit inquiry on my report. They assured me more than once that it would be a soft inquiry, so I went ahead and allowed them to help. After about 15 minutes of waiting the sales person comes back and advises that if I do as I had planned they would be able to get me into the car at $500 - $550 a month and this should be my goal for the next 90 days. I was also advised that it would be impossible to get a car note less than I have now. Figuring the car was only $23,600 and I am willing to put $5,000 down, the proposed payment was hard to choke down. Who in their right mind would pay 25% interest with a total payout being above $10,000 over sticker, and that doesn't include the down payment. No big deal that we didn't drive off with a new car because that wasn't our goal. My wife and I had a good laugh about it until 2 days ago when my credit monitor sent me an e-mail saying there was a new hard inquiry on my credit report, and of course it was from Rick Case. It's one thing to be feed xx about loan amounts, but it should be illegal for a dealership to ding your credit score after saying no to a hard inquiry. The sales person must have said a 100 times I want to change people minds about how they view the car buying experience. If that's the case then they need to learn from the previous 10 dealerships we visited in the last month.

On January 26, 2013, I went to the dealership to buy a car. Mr. Butler approached me at the parking lot. I told him I wanted to test drive a 2012 Elantra Touring, We went for a drive. That day, we did not come to an agreement. Mr. Butler called me after a week trying to get my business back. After many weeks of negotiating over the phone, and agreed into a fixed price, I told Mr. Butler that I was going to be there on Friday, March 22 at noon to purchase the car. On Friday I was running late so I called him and left him a voice mail that I was going to be there by 4:00PM. Right at 3:00 I called his cell phone because I wanted to make sure he was going to be at the dealer at 4:00. He said yes. When I got there, I asked him where the car was and he told me that somewhere in the back. My friend, the one who drove me all the way there wanted to see some SUVs so we asked him to take us to the lot.. When we came back in the shop, all of a sudden he offered me another car because the car that I was ready to buy had been sold. I did not like this way of making business of Mr. Rick and Mrs. Rita Case.
