i trusted the person i was dealing with mistake!!!

there service center charges for stuff they dont perform! not honest im tired of the crap service and product us consumers get stuck paying for!!! un acceptable!!!

Avoid this dealership - they will scam you

Drove over 3 hours to see a vehicle just to find out it was sold. I was communicating with Bill Wallace throughout my interactions and not once did he mention this and instead chose to waste my time. A simple text or phone call would have been sufficient but he and his team found the entire situation to be funny. This dealership is extremely unprofessional and does not respect its customers, and is very racist towards people of color. I have never encountered such disgusting behavior by people who claim to work at an equitable dealer. Please take your business elsewhere as this is not the place to buy or service a car. This is a shameful dealership with racist employees and despicable treatment! *Update: Spoke with the manager and he made several false promises about finding a comparable vehicle for me. He never returned my calls and was very dismissive throughout the entire process. Do not recommend buying from here at all! Avoid this dealership!

After the service and going through the rain the last week, I checked the wipers because the were ripped in a few places. They need replacement, could have replaced them at the Dealership the same time I was there. Lost business I guess.

Avoid.

🚩🚩🚩To sum up this post if you don't want to read the whole thing: Avoid Day's Chevrolet in Acworth if you want someone that has integrity, is honest and efficient. 🚩🚩🚩 Jan 8th, I'm in an accident that wasn't my fault. The other party's insurance company tells me to drop my car off at Day's about a week and a half later. We get there with a screaming toddler chilling in the car and they tell us they don't do same-day drop off. I have to call the insurance company and they explain to me the person that okayed the drop off. Eventually after a lot of back and forth with Matthew, the manager tells us it's a safety issue that we'd be taking it back home and they'll actually hold onto it. I'm called a few weeks later and told that it'll be ready for pick up on February 1st. That gets pushed back twice a week for 3 weeks. They called last week and I'm told that the car is ready for pick up but now it's stalling and giving an error message "shift to park". They tell me over and over that this can't be caused by the accident so they can't pin it on the insurance company. No diagnostic check done prior to the body work. They assume it's a shifter issue but haven't done a diagnostic check to figure it out. They tell us it will be $435, but they'll discount it to $400. (Yay, $35.🙄) We go back and forth with my insurance, their insurance and are told it won't be covered because it wasn't caused by the accident. Strange that I've never had this issue until an accident that involves the area where the shifter is. Also, how do I know while they were working on it THEY didn't mess something up? Ultimately, 21 days later we get it discounted to $300 and they refuse to work with us or submit a supplemental claim. I have never been so displeased with a company. Also, for our troubles they changed my battery which was only a year old. So thanks? Also, they were awful about communication and we had to wait an hour to pick up the car once we got there. Thanks for being a pain in the butt to work with Day's! We won't be back!

Beware!

Beware!!! This service department will tell you all sorts of things are wrong with your vehicle that are not actually issues then be rude when you can't afford their prices! Worst service department ever! We have purchased 2 new vehicles from this location and will NEVER go to or recommend Days Chevrolet Acworth to anyone! We had a vehicle towed to the Days Chevrolet Service department (this was not a vehicle we purchased at Days). The vehicle arrived on Friday and they called on Tuesday with a list of issues that totaled up to $4300! we originally took the vehicle to Days with the expectations that our extended warranty would cover the cost. We were informed that NONE of the issues were covered under warranty. Since this was a vehicle we had not had long we contacted the dealer we purchased it from and they wanted the vehicle taken to a different service center for a second opinion. When we notified Days of this they were rude and wanted to charge us a little over $800 for the compression test they performed. When asked why the compression test was so expensive they stated it was 4.5 hours labor to perform it. The reality is they called us at 8 am to get permission to do the test and 11 to tell us the results. So it couldn't have taken 4.5 hours to complete the test. Brandon the service manager was beyond rude when we told him we would not be having the vehicle repaired there and made the comment they don't like diagnosing issues just to have the a vehicle repaired somewhere else. So basically they decided to charge us as much as possible for the diagnosis. Then to make it worse Brandon would not take a card payment over the phone and made us drive to the dealership to come in and pay for the compression test. His reasoning was because we had never had service there before (keep in mind we have purchased 2 new vehicles from this dealership in the past) The shop the vehicle was taken to, didn't find near as much wrong as Days was claiming. So after paying $724 ( Brandon finally agreed to subtract 1.5 hours of labor since we had proof that their compression test didn't take 4.5 hours) we had the vehicle towed to another repair shop in the same condition as it arrived at Days. Never again Days Chevrolet of Acworth!!! If you're looking for an honest mechanic please consider Jason Ivester at Carterville Muffler.
