I purchased a KIA EV6 back in 2022 for about 69K, FIRST
I purchased a KIA EV6 back in 2022 for about 69K, FIRST MISTAKE. It was assured to me that with the new technology and limited understanding of the newly released VE6 that KIA would stand behind their car and back it with warranted repairs. I was also advised that by purchasing an EV with KIA this would guarantee me a loaner car if there was ever a time or need for them to have kept my vehicle. Well let me reassure you this is not the case and after a very long drug out battle at another un-named dealership... I can say that if you are loud enough and if they have people buying cars and spending money in the lobby you may get a loaner... if not you can hang that argument up and at least thank God they are repairing your car and honoring the warranty in which KIA provides. Since all of this I have moved and thought after my conversation on the phone with KIA on Friday, September 12, 2025, that maybe my experience here may be different. I assure you it has not been... my car was left unlocked in a lot with all of my belongings free for the taking... I have messaged again and again and again, no CONTACT. I called one day after work getting in the car, drive 20 minutes on hold to find Monica sitting at her desk doing nothing as I am standing in front of her yet still on hold as she is with a customer. I am not the one to just go away and I assure you I will be contacting KIA to inform them of the visit that day, the negative response from management when I asked about a courtesy car, lack of communication and the fact it took me driving to the lot to get an update. My car has been on this lot since 9/12/2025 it is now 09/30/2025 = 18 days to have an amp replaced to AVOID a safety hazard and 2 trim pieces. Seems that maybe Dean McCrary Kia of Mobile should split the car note this month... at $800+ a month one would think I could at least have a car to drive. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NEW CAR AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE and would like to highly discourage you from doing the same. We know used car salesmen are not honest... you expect it... one does not when spending 69K on a vehicle they custom ordered and drove over 2k miles to get. SHAME ON YOU KIA for allowing these dealerships to tarnish your name. You may have found a way to no longer be considered a disposable cheap car... but you still have CHEAP, TERRIBLE, STEROTYPICAL, DISHONEST lots selling your products. Even worse, you allow it and promote it by leaving things up to them and not making them follow the way of KIA. SHAME ON YOU KIA, SHAME ON YOU! 09/30/2025 I call the dealership and get placed on hold after asking to speak to Monica the service advisor. She then calls me from another line and leaves a voicemail to avoid speaking to me. After working all day, I drive to the dealership to be met by the service manager that when questioned about them leaving my car in the parking lot unlocked all weekend long proceeds to lie to me telling me that my car was inside under lock and key. I have 360 photo ability on my KIA EV6 and assure you when it texts me to alert it was unlocked, I took a photograph to see it was plainly parked in the lot and now subjected to anyone that may decide to check. He walks with me to the car to check everything over and ensure that nothing has been damaged or removed from my car over the weekend. This is when I noticed the after-market AMP and crossover that I had installed for $1100.00 back in Reno, NV to ensure that there was no damage or violation of warranty during the installation process had all bee unhooked, taped over, removed my amp from the seat... and left it all laying there. His response was we don't mess with 3rd part equipment; I asked him well they took it out didn't they, he said we had to sir to do the repair...the damaged my backseat and turned me away - see google for full review.

This is the best customer service I have ever experienced
This is the best customer service I have ever experienced with a car dealership and service department hands down. I drive an hour there to get my oil changed because I trust them, and they make doing business with them as less stressful as possible. They always answer all of my questions with out making me feel stupid or silly. I’m grateful to have found this team.

The way I was treated by the finance man.
The way I was treated by the finance man. This man nor Brian could explain a simple question. Instead of trying to understand he just kept getting more annoyed or whatever the attitude was, when I asked to explain my finance paperwork to me. Bci was not accepting his calculations when on 3 papers he showed me, they were all different. He kept talking to me with an attitude bc I asked the question and bc I couldn’t understand his non answer. If a dealer can not show you how they come up with the price of a vehicle (fees and taxes) what recourse do you have. They acted like I was trying to return the car when what I saw was only a price discrepancy of $200-$1000. They added $3,100 to my sales price for portfolio that I didn’t ask for xx didn’t know I was purchasing when I asked for the same gap ins that I had on my previous car. He explained the service to me but never mentioned it would cost anything or even how much. I will never buy another car from here nor send anyone here for cars. Wish I didn’t have to go here for maintenance and I probably won’t. Disgusting practices. Yes I signed most of my paperwork without reading it do how fast the papers are being shuffled and the fact that I thought I had already knew the car I was getting was the car I asked for specifically when I got there (pre approved for a vehicle). I just got swindled out of way more money than I was suppose to be passing and it’s sad that people will do this to you with no recourse. Never again tho.

This was the most horrifying, unprofessional, and purely
This was the most horrifying, unprofessional, and purely evil dealership experience I’ve ever had. I drove over 150 miles to Dean McCary Kia for a warranty repair after being told the catalytic converter had been ordered for my vehicle. The first appointment was cancelled without explanation. At the second appointment (August 14, 1:30 pm) they suddenly claimed they had “broken” the warranty part and refused to install it. They also refused to release my vehicle for hours, leaving me and my sister stranded in another state. While we were stuck there, we watched how white customers were treated politely and taken in and out quickly, while we were ignored, spoken to rudely, and clearly treated differently. It felt racist and discriminatory. Once the service department left at 5:00 PM, they kicked both of us (two women) out onto the street, even though the dealership stayed open later. They insisted we get a rental from Enterprise — even though they already knew we did not have a physical credit card and were not expecting a rental. They still dropped us off miles away from the dealership, leaving us abandoned with no transportation and nowhere to go. We had to walk along unfamiliar streets, not knowing if we would be trafficked or seriously harmed. I was scared because my car smelled like it was burning when they gave it back and forced me to sign a paper stating false things about me, yet they still refused to let me call a tow truck. When I tried contacting Kia 24-hour roadside assistance, the dealership told me not to call the tow and even instructed me to hang up on the operator, putting me at serious risk. The managers abused their power by keeping my car in their possession as a tactic to intentionally make me suffer, and when a sheriff showed up, it was clear the sheriff had been called by the dealership and was on their side. We were forced to pay for a hotel, and I had to go to the hospital because I suffer from anxiety and depression and did not have my medication. We were stranded for over 20 hours past our appointment time, and when they finally handed my keys back, my car was still in the exact same unrepaired condition, with the check engine light still on. I was not okay with the car being returned in its original condition, and I had every right to be upset because I went through xxxx and back for nothing, yet they still refuse to fix it. They then told us we were banned from the dealership and threatened to call the police if we ever returned which is a serious threat to my safety! I honestly believe they lied about the part being broken so they could keep the brand-new warranty part and still get paid for it, which is FRAUD they committed. Do NOT trust Dean McCary Kia. They mistreated us, discriminated against us, abused their power, left us stranded miles away, refused proper roadside assistance, failed to repair the car, and showed no concern for our safety or wellbeing. Their behavior was purely evil, and we genuinely feared for our lives.I literally went home at 2:00 pm August 15 the next day. Have no idea who the lady in the blue was telling me to get out like I was a dog and the dealership wasn’t even closed! Being a Baton Rouge, Louisiana native I am never going to NASTY Mississippi again ever in my life my family thought I was missing! I AM NEVER IN MY LIFE GETTING A KIA AGAIN!

I had a fantastic experience at Dean McCrary Kia. I’ve been shopping for a car for a few weeks. Test drove several SUV’s and when I came here I knew I had made the right decision. My Sales person, Johnathan was very professional and helpful and helped me clear my concerns about purchasing a Kia. In fact, I love my new Telluride. This whole team here is top notch. They believe in customer service and will make sure that you are happy with your new vehicle. Very impressive and yes, I will be back for my next car.
