Lucas Honda of Jacksonville

In 2017 I negotiated the purchase of 3 new CRV’s the latest concluded on Dec 29th. Of the 3 CRV’s 2 were purchased at Lucas, both from the Internet salesman, James MacDonald. This man is like no other car salesman in the industry. He will not try to be your best friend and will not be warm and fuzzy. What he will do is give u the best deal out of as many dealerships as u contact or visit and get u the color and model when the other dealerships tell u that color is not available anywhere in Florida. He has worked for Lucas for 24 Years. There is no xx in his vocabulary. He was able to put together a “3 dealer trade’ to get the color my wife wanted only to be told, “My wife changed her mind on the color.” Fortunately we had not taken possession of the Car or had the leather installed. When I called him to ask if we could get another color I expected “No.” Instead he said give me a day or two and I’ll see if I can find one as he did not have one on the lot. Bottom line...he located one from a Gainesville Honda Dealer. Having bought Honda’s for over 23 years I know of no salesman or dealership to offer such dedication in making a customer happy. To Mr MacDonald and Lucas Honda....Thank you!! A+

I bought my 2014 Honda Accord here and was always satisfied with the service. I even get a loaner car for me and my to shop before my car is done. The service people are very professional and courteous.

This is the first vehicle we have purchased from Lucas Honda and so far they have exceeded our expectations. The buying process was very thorough and quick. The first time we used the service department (5,000 mile inspection/service) we were not disappointed. We used the Honda Link App to make the appointment and it was very easy. The staff was very helpful and professional. When we received our vehicle back it had been washed and vacuumed as well, then we received an explanation of the services rendered. We did notice the service manager (John) come out of his office often and speak to all the waiting customers, including us. We will be going back.

Scott Adams & his team continued to demonstrate the absolutely outstanding skills which separate them from other service folks. In fact, after having recently introduced my granddaughter (who also owns a Honda) to Scott, she told me how truly impressed she was with his invaluable assistance and resolution of her concern. She told me that she would definitely return for service in the future. Note: of interest, although I did not buy a vehicle during this visit, over the years I have purchased 3 vehicles thru Lucas Honda & played a positive role in several other folks also buying a vehicle at Lucas Honda.

I was very impressed with Brian, our maintenance representative. He went out of his way to make sure all of my questions were answered. Even though he is young, he represents the Honda Spirit!

We have been overwhelmingly pleased with the service department at Lucas since purchasing our new Honda Pilot in 2009. All of the Maintenance - preventative maintenance- and service needs have Been accomplished at this service department. Starting with the Service man anger John Keene and the entire servicing staff have been extremely helping and dedicated individuals. John leads by example and is a consistent helpful friendly and extremely knowledgeable manager. Our service consultant though out the past 9 years has been Mr Scott Adams. Scott has been oustanding is all of our appointments and maintenance dealing. He always explains every detail of what actions were taken and what we should have accomplished in the future to keep our wonderful vehicle running in top condition at all times. He is an outstanding example of what a Service consultant / writer should be. He even willingly goes out of his way to patiently explain and provide answers to my wifes satisfaction her concerns and confusions with HER Honda Pilot. He is an outstanding asset to this service department as well as the service department is a sterling example to the Lucas Honda Dealership. Truly an outstanding service department with an overall Outstanding Staff from Services Manager to the porters and vehicle Washers. If Honda only manufactured a real full size Pick up truck I would never go to any other service department. Robert W Hill

Every time my car goes in for service the service department is prompt and courteous. I love getting it back clean and vacuumed. Never had a bad experience.
