Mm, thank you for sharing your positive experience!
3 1/2 hours for the “Express Service”
I had a 10:00 appointment. Was told they were really backed up and could be two hours. When I went to the desk at noon, was told they had not started servicing my car yet, and could be another hour. I didn’tvwant to leave after investing two hours time, so I waited. When I finally reveived word it was finished, I paid, retrieved the car and found that they didn’t install a small panel that had fallen off under dash (I requested this be done). It was still sitting in the passenger seat. This wait and incompetence is not acceptable. Will think twice about buting another car there and definitely will find an independent mechanic!!!

Service Appoinment???
I had a 9:15 appointment for an oil change today. When I arrived and asked how long it would be, I was tolde it would be 2-2.5 hours! I informed the rep that I had an appointment, and she told me coming here is like going to the doctor, you check in, and then wait. My appointment gave me priority over walk-ins! What good is an appointment time if you are not going to adhere to it. I made an appoinment because I don't have 2 hours to sit in the dealership for a basic service.

Felt like they didn’t want my business
I had a 2016 Toyota Sienna and wanted to get the 2019 Honda Odessey. The sales rep quickly informed me he doesn’t work on commission and it doesn’t really matter if he closes the deal. He talked about sales managers keeping the pricing to themselves and all negotiating went thru sales managers. The sales manager came over and was arguing with me when I told him what he was telling me made no sense. I asked why would I get a 2018 for the same price of the 2019, he became worked up and unable to provide a reason. Finally he went down more on the price for the 2018 but seemed angry. Then he said my trade was no good. All said and done I spent 3hrs there and was handed back my keys to my Sienna with a don’t call me, I’ll call you attitude. No explanation. Today I went to Hendrick Toyota. I was in and out in 1.5hrs, treated like a queen and now the proud owner of a 2018 Toyota Sienna XLE. Day and night difference. Hendrick Honda could stand to learn a lot from Hendrick Toyota.

Honda Service of Charleston is the best!
I had an excellent experience in the service department with my son's 2007 Honda Accord. Eddie Simpson took very good care of me, was polite and helpful and followed through on everything he said he would do. How refreshing! His boss Travis Oltmann got involved in helping us locate a part and he was totally awesome as well. The service department is clean, comfortable and even had donuts, fresh coffee, phone charging stations and a big screen tv! My son loves his Honda and I highly recommend the service department here. They are the best!

2011 Honda CR-V
We are purchasing a used car today. Brad Singer was our salesman. He is great and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to anybody and the sales manager Mark worked with us to settle on a price we both agreed upon.

Great car buying experience
My son-in-law had done all the leg work on the phone before I even arrived at the dealership, so that really helped a lot with my purchase. Anne Marie was very knowledgeable on the car I was purchasing and she has a great personality. They were all very nice and not too pushy. I will recommend this dealership to my family and friends. They gave us the best deal!

Terrible - Sold Car While Holding my Deposit
This is actually the very first online review that I’ve ever written, but I feel compelled to write it in hopes that someone else doesn’t get screwed over the way I just did by the used car manager at Hendrick Honda of Charleston. Sorry it’s so long, but the details are important…really unbelievable, but this actually happened just today. I live in Alabama, and was looking throughout the southeast for a car. I planned to locate, negotiate a deal, put down a deposit, travel to sign the deal, and get a car. I found a 2015 Audi A4 on the Hendrick Honda of Charleston website. I received an email from Joy Donmeyer (Sales Consultant) asking when I could come in for a test drive. I called her and started to discuss pricing of the car, etc. She was apparently on a cell phone headset or something because her voice was breaking up, and we were unable to effectively communicate…obviously important for price negotiation. She suggested we move to texting because she is often busy with customers, and it’s hard for her to get back to phone calls in a timely fashion. I declined, explaining that I didn’t want to negotiate a car deal via texts. She declined that explanation, and told me to call Andrew Plemmens (Used Car Manager) directly if I wanted to actually negotiate verbally. So I called Andrew, we negotiated a price for the A4…$286 off listed price of $23,286. We agreed that I would put a Visa deposit on the car, he would remove the car from sale, and I would drive to Charleston the next day to sign the paperwork and get the car….he would have Joy call me to set this all up. Joy calls at 2:00pm, I give her a Visa deposit of $1000,and we arrange to meet the next day. I ask her a few questions about the car…she actually goes out to the car while on the phone to verify my questions about the wheels, floor mats, scratches, dings, etc. I jokingly said to her “now be sure it gets taken off the lot, so it doesn’t get sold”. She replied “Don’t worry, I took the keys out, and I’ll send it to clean up early tomorrow so you won’t have to wait”. All looked good, I called my son to arrange a trip to get the car the next day. Almost 6 hours later, at 7:45pm, I get a call from Andrew who proceeds to tell me that the car has been SOLD! He starts telling me a story about while he was working another deal, one of the other sales people sold the car…without him (USED CAR MANAGER)…knowing about it. Now, unless you born yesterday, you know that NO used car deal is ever done without the approval of the Used Car Manager…we’ve all been told “let me take this to my sales manager…I’ll be right back”. So in addition to being infuriated by having the car sold away from me, I was now being insulted with this ridiculous story. It’s very clear what actually happened. Somebody came in, offered him full price for the car… a full $286 more than what I bought it for…and he simply decided to take the car from me, and sell it to them…even though he had my $1000 deposit on that car in his hand. So he basically screwed me over for $286…is this the guy you want to buy your next used car from? I don’t believe that Joy Donmeyer is to blame for this outrageous set of events…as nothing takes place in the used car arena without the approval of the used car manager. I place full blame on Andrew Plemmens, and dealer management for keeping him employed...this cannot be the first time he has done something like this. HE is the one who made the decision to simply disregard any respect for what is right and wrong, and sell a car that had already been sold. But no big deal for him…he made an additional $286 on the car. I mean what’s the impact of one screwed customer in the grand scheme of things…sure, the customer is upset, but nobody else will ever find out, so no worries...right? I read several online reviews about Hendrick Honda of Charleston. Many from new Honda car buyers were good reviews. But a LOT of reviews from used car buyers were bad…but I figured, they had the car I wanted, it still had remaining Audi factory warranty, I have an local Audi dealership in town, so I really won’t have to deal with Hendrick Honda after I have the car. Well…that didn’t work out so good…hopefully you won’t make the same mistake.
