Reviews
I recently called this dealership because I was looking for a used, small car for commuting. I’m a 50-year-old man who has bought several cars over the years—not a kid buying his first car—and I was prepared to pay cash for the right vehicle at a fair price. What makes this experience particularly disappointing is that I actually purchased another vehicle from this dealership about two years ago and had a very good experience. Because of that, when I came back this time, I assumed I would be treated the same way and have another straightforward, positive experience. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. When I asked if there was any flexibility on the price since I was paying cash, I was told they don’t negotiate and that the advertised price was essentially the price. That was a first for me. I’ve bought several vehicles over the years, and when I’ve offered to pay cash, it has always at least been part of the conversation and typically resulted in a better deal. I found it particularly strange to hear there was no flexibility whatsoever while simultaneously having conversations about various add-ons. And that’s really where they lost me. The discussions about the “extra key,” paint protection, and window tint pricing felt like a lot of sales tactics and double-speak rather than a straightforward conversation about buying a car. Honestly, I found some of it insulting. The sales process got to the point where I half expected to hear, “Don’t worry, we’ll even throw in the steering wheel package.” It felt like every part of the car had a separate value attached to it, and instead of simply giving me a fair price on the vehicle, I felt like I was constantly being sold something. I’m sure this approach works for some customers, particularly younger buyers financing their first vehicle. But that’s not what I was looking for. I had cash in hand, knew what I wanted, and simply wanted to find a decent car and pay a decent price. At the end of the experience, I felt like I was being xx’d rather than dealt with honestly. I ultimately found a 2017 Toyota Corolla with only 24,000 miles for $15,000 cash and decided to go with that instead. I want to be clear that this review is specifically about my recent sales experience. I still really like their service department and the people who work there. They have always been good to me, and I will absolutely continue bringing my Bronco there for service. The service team has earned my trust, and I have no hesitation recommending them. That’s part of what makes the sales experience so disappointing. I came back to a dealership where I had previously had a good experience, and I still have a positive opinion of the service department and the people there. I just didn’t feel the same level of honesty and straightforwardness from the sales side this time around. If the owner or sales manager would like candid feedback about my experience, I’d be happy to provide it. Hopefully they can take it as constructive feedback from someone who was genuinely prepared to buy another vehicle from them but ultimately chose to take his business elsewhere. Best of luck to the team.

Service guy was good the the rest not so good as I had to take it to another ford dealer that explained the recall and that there were no disclaimers and that if something when wrong then that was not a fix to the issue the recall is to fix the issue not probably fix the issue.

BUYERS BEWARE — GREENWAY FORD, ORLANDO FL I purchased a 2022 Ford F-150 from Greenway Ford only 4 months ago, paying approximately $25,000 CASH total, including around $5,000 for an extended warranty. I was told the warranty would provide extensive coverage and could be used at Ford dealerships anywhere in the United States. I now live in North Carolina, and my truck developed serious hard shifting, vibration and transmission problems. I took it to King Ford in Murphy, NC, where the transmission problem was evaluated. I have now been told I am facing approximately a $6,500 transmission repair. I have spent weeks dealing with this, missed work and lost income, and spent hours driving to mechanic shops recommended by the warranty department. I was also told by the warranty department that I had to perform transmission maintenance before they would move forward, costing me approximately another $600 out of pocket, even though I had already taken the truck to a Ford dealership regarding the transmission problem. I purchased a nearly $5,000 warranty specifically to protect myself from something like this. Instead, only four months after spending approximately $25,000 cash, I am still fighting to get my truck properly repaired. I understand used vehicles can have problems, but I believe a dealership should stand behind what it sells and the warranty representations made to its customers. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Greenway Ford at this time. If they step up and make this right, I will gladly update this review. Until then, I strongly advise potential buyers: BE CAREFUL, get every promise in writing, read your warranty carefully, and understand exactly what you’re buying before handing over your money.

Carlos my salesman was honest, fast and knowledgeable about the vehicle. Everyone from the service manager to the fiance office was great. I had great buying experience. It won't be the last vehicle I buy from them. Very professional.

Incredibly kind staff all around. Could not have had a more pleasant or streamlined experience. Stefan and Johnny have the patience of saints and saved us so much hassle. Should’ve been our first stop, won’t make that mistake again. Super appreciate their time and attention to details. Left much happier than we came in, feels crazy to say at a dealership!
