Very disappointed in Ed Hicks Nissan — especially after being loyal customers. We have purchased TWO vehicles and TWO extended warranties from Ed Hicks Nissan, including our 2023 Certified Used Nissan Armada Platinum. We chose to purchase the extended warranty because we trusted the dealership and wanted the peace of mind that comes with having coverage. Unfortunately, when the driver’s power seat track stopped working, that peace of mind disappeared. We were told the repair was not covered under our warranty, and we were given an estimate of approximately $2,600 to fix it. We paid nearly $4,000 for the extended warranty, yet when we actually needed it, we were essentially left to pay for the repair ourselves. That is incredibly frustrating. What makes this even more disappointing is that we aren’t first-time customers. We have purchased two vehicles and two warranties from this dealership. We have given Ed Hicks Nissan our business because we believed we were dealing with a dealership that valued its customers and stood behind what it sells. Instead, this experience has left us questioning what exactly we paid nearly $4,000 for and whether customer loyalty means anything when a problem actually occurs. If a customer spends thousands of dollars on an extended warranty, they should reasonably expect that warranty to provide meaningful protection when something breaks. Being told that a major repair isn’t covered—after making that significant investment—is extremely disappointing. We expected better from Ed Hicks Nissan. After two vehicle purchases and two warranty purchases, this is not the way we expected to be treated. We hope someone at the dealership is willing to take another look at this situation and recognize that customer service shouldn’t end once the sale is complete.

After falling and breaking my wrist, my 2023 Rogue sat, mostly not driven for two months. When I was able to drive again I discovered that a squealing sound was coming from the steering column. During my routine service check-up Ben Garcia, one of the service associates, immediately checked it out. He did the necessary research and found that the car was still under warranty. He immediately scheduled a time for the repair once the part arrived at the dealership. He kept in touch with me throughout the repair job and patiently waited until I was able to return to pick up my car. He also arranged for me to have a car to drive while my car was being repaired. Ben is always courteous, friendly, helpful, and gives great attention to detail. I am always happy when he is there to assist me with the service to my Rogue.

We purchased a Nissan Rogue and felt absolutely no pressure, did not have a pushy salesman (Ray) or did we feel cheated in our trade. We were actually blown away by the thousands extra we were told we would get at other Corpus Christi dealers. We were in and out and Ray and the management team made us feel like we were the only people there. We took our Rogue in for its first oil change and the service department (Ben) went above and beyond to make us feel like we were part of the Ed Hicks family not just another rear view mirror tag for the day. We will continue to purchase Nissan from Ed Hicks.
