My appointment to get the oil changed in my car was at 7.
My appointment to get the oil changed in my car was at 7. It wasn't ready until almost 2 hours later. I was told that the back brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. Charge: $535. I declined in order to get a 2nd opinion from a different mechanic. At the other mechanic, I was told that the back didn't need to be replaced, but the front did and also, both boots on the axle were leaking. I saw this myself. How did Ford do their routine inspection but miss that both boots were leaking??
