WORST PLACE TO DO BUISNESS!!!! THEY DESERVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW!! I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUISNESS!! They will take advantage of you!! I am writing on behalf of a family member, that I had to hear about the worst purchase and worst interaction with management, empty promises, and unprofessionalism. All of this could have been handled professionally. Instead, Sam Ajayi General Manager did the opposite of his promises, and my family member is stuck with a truck payment for a truck they have yet to drive or have in their possession.

I was absolutely appalled with my experience at Nissan of Lumberton. First, I called and told them exactly what I was looking for, what I was trading, and what I could do financially. After telling me they'd call back in 20 minutes, they didn't call back until the next day. Then, they told me they could do it, but that it would be easier if I came in store - so I did. I drove over an hour away, and when I got there, the man I had been working with, IMMEDIATELY passed me off on someone else. (First red flag). When I told this salesperson what I was trying to do, he said "ooooh that's gonna be tough, but I'll see what I can do." (Second red flag). I proceeded to tell him I was looking for an SUV, newer than what I was driving but NOT BRAND NEW. So after a while, he pulled up a vehicle for me to look at. What was it? A brand new 2025 SEDAN. (Third red flag). EXACTLY WHAT I SAID I DIDN'T WANT. With payments double what I could afford. I told him I didn't want it, and he talked me into driving it. So I did, and told him I didn't want it and that there had to be an SUV somewhere on the lot they could get me in. So he pulled up ANOTHER brand new vehicle - a 2025 Nissan Kicks. Which I loved. But they could not get the payment where I needed, and they only wanted to offer me 1000 for my trade (2016 Honda Fit in great condition), so we left and went home. Fast forward two days later, I'm on my way to Cornelius NC to pick up a 2022 Nissan Kicks, that was in my price range, AND they had gotten an offer for 4800 on my Honda to trade in....so I jumped on it. Well, I got a phone call from Nissan of Lumberton while I was on my way to pick up my car from Modern Nissan, and they asked if I had given any thought to the Kicks. I said "Yes, I'm on my way to get one from another dealership as we speak". Lumberton then asked me why I didn't want to purchase from them, and I told them Modern had gotten me a GREAT deal.... Their response? "Well what if we can match that deal and get you in the new one?" I told them they had their chance to do that two days prior when I was in there shopping, and they HUNG UP ON ME. Save yourself the trouble, and drive the extra hour to Cornelius' Modern Nissan Of Lake Norman. They were super pleasant to deal with, and not wishy washy on their deals!

Wish I could give me a 0....don't go here..put 14000.00 cash dp..lied on warrenty charged me for 2..7500.00 total..4000.00 one was supposed to come with certified preowned under 5yrs old..bought a 2020 cadillac end of 2024...just found out when another warrenty company called me...wish I would have checked these reviews first before buying a car...alot of 1 stars...xxxxty service....would not have went here...hopefully this saves someone from getting screwed

The truck was advertised with 11,000 miles and I contracted to buy it but then was told it actually had 18,000 miles and they refused to adjust the price. I drove 5.5 hours to get it. I was told it was mechanically serviced and professionally detailed. The truck had soiled used men's underwear in it, the maintenance wasn't done, and I was told by sales that "the detail crew is lazy and I think the mechanics just missed a few things.". The tires were damaged and unsafe and even though that is a certified pre-owned requirement I was forced to pay out of pocket for road safe tires. The spare keys were missing, and I was told to pay out of pocket. After showing the certified checklist, they reluctantly slid a spare key across the table. At one point I was told by sales, "You GOT money. You can buy tires!". I never received paperwork for the tires, and I told them not to put that on the financing, but they did anyway. I was promised free oil changes for life at a Toyota dealership near me but when I spoke to their management, they said this would never happen. Advertised items were missing from the truck. I was told if I want them I need to pay for them myself. Sales did find some items but they took them from other vehicles on the lot. I did receive a call a few days after purchase and was told the store manager would contact me directly. I have called, texted, emailed multiple times with no call back. I am trying to get this resolved but I'm deeply disappointed with the experience. I was charged $2,895 for the promise of a certified vehicle and $999 dealer/doc fee. The extra costs just kept adding up and I still have no paperwork backing up what was done and what was promised. Nissan of Lumberton was the previous owner of this truck and put it up for sale the last day of January 2024 with 11200 miles. By mid-March the truck had 18,091 miles on it. I was told by Nissan of Lumberton that a Nissan Executive drove this truck 6,891 miles from when it was posted for sale. The night I agreed to purchase they actually raised the cost of the truck online an additional $5,000 with the higher mileage listed. An extremely stressful and costly experience with so many things still unanswered and unknown and the buying experience took 8 hours from start to finish.

On Friday, November 15th, my daughter called the service
On Friday, November 15th, my daughter called the service department and was told to have her car at the service department Monday at 8:30. On Monday 11/18, they told her she wasn't on schedule for that day but took her in and kept her there from 8:30 until 4:00. They ordered the part and said they would fix the car on Tuesday. Her car has been at the dealership since Monday. The only call she received was to let her know the part didn't come in on Tuesday and that they would have her car ready Wednesday by closing. She called on Wednesday at 3:00, and the rep. couldn't give her an update and said they would call her back, but she didn't receive a call. POOR COMMUNICATION!!

Scam Alert! If you received a flyer in the mail saying you won a prize you didn’t. When you get there they will argue with you about how a “blue line” means that you won a chance at a prize even though no where on the flyer does it state that.
