LH Charleston, SC. Alex Park/Carlton Motorcars....the BEST
Our experience in buying our first Mercedes was great. We called and spoke with Alex Park on a Sunday concerning a 2014 Mercedes. He was very friendly on the phone. He walked us through paperwork over the phone to hold the car until we could see it. On arrival several days later to the dealership, we were meet by a friendly and professional salesperson. Alex was great. He took us through each step without any rush. Took time to show us other options and even more time to show us (over an hour) the 'bells and whistles' of our new car. Hands down the best car buying experience we have ever had.

Bought a demo E350
I was looking for a specific E350 with low mileage. I needed some particular options and the car I bought had them all. The car was pristine and dealing with Robin was low key and pleasant.

Excellent as Always
My family has bought 8 Mercedes' from Carlton and every experience has been fantastic. We adore Sean Diebert who is a pleasure to work with each and every time. He is friendly, calm and very organized. As far as the service department goes, Sammy Hood is the best person we have ever had to deal with in the car industry. We are life long devoted clients to Carlton Motorcars.

Excellent service Robin Rollins
had been looking for a specific Mercedes and found one in Greenville, SC at Carlton. I was going out of town for a week and Robin held the car with a small deposit. He drove the car to Florence SC and i took possession the following Monday. he made it absolutely painless and worked diligently to ensure i was satisfied with all of the paper work and procedures that we were requied to go through. It was a great experience...I highly recommend Robin and his crew to do what they say they will do!!!!

A Car Buying Experience that was a True Pleasure
Not every car buying experience is a pleasure, in fact, the majority are probably not. However in dealing with a true experienced professional in William and an up and coming young professional in Tyler, I enjoyed the accelerated process and felt really good overall throughout.. I love Carlton anyway, as they have the best service of any dealership I have ever dealt with. This positive car buying experience further reinforced my feelings about Carlton. I will be back.

Used S-Class Mercedes
Comments: Sales staff: The sales staff was professional and courteous. I purchased an older used S-Class and Rick treated me with the same respect as he would higher valued clients. It was greatly appreciated. The owner: I spoke to Mr. Carlton, 93 years young. Very nice man who supports many community events. It was an honor. The car: Used S-Class. TV show topic that evening stated that a good used S-Class Mercedes was a great bang for the buck. Let me put it this way; go find a used S-Class and take it for a test ride. The customer: For me, an online search for a vehicle in my price range took me to Carlton Mercedes-Benz. And yes, I believe I nailed the landing.

Service is better than the car!
Have had my 2010 E350 for over four years. The buying experience went well and I got a fair deal. Joel Johnson, sales consultant. is no longer there, but he provided excellent service. He did not badger me, but let me take plenty of time to decide whether or not to purchase a car. Did not pressure me to buy a car off the lot, but gave me an excellent price on ordering one from Germany. Carlton has delivered excellent service every time that I have taken it in. They had to keep car for over three days at one point due to computer issues, but provided a loaner C class. While everyone in service has been helpful, I have been especially impressed with David Knutti, service advisor. He always provides excellent service, takes time to discuss issues and makes sure everything gets done timely. Latest example is I recently sent him an e-mail about a phone issue and he called me within a couple of hours and gave me instructions on how to correct the problem. Without having to drive to dealership. Sammy Hood has also been very good, but primarily have worked with Mr. Knutti. Excellent service even though they know they will only see me once a year. As title says, I wish the car was as good as the dealership. It's a very good car and I really like it, but far too many issues for this class. Fortunately all of them have been repaired at no cost to me. Carlton service dept. has had a role in making that happen. Prices are high, but that is because of everything M-B wants done to the cars as "routine" services. Mr. Knutti and Carlton do what they can to keep prices down. Highly recommend Carlton and its service dept.

A Mercedes-Benz Convert
Scott Gordon in Service was instrumental in making me confident in the CPO program and the different maint. options. Pablo Goycochea in sales was a true pro, and a pleasure to work with. I honestly was strongly leaning to purchasing another BMW but these guys made me a true MB believer.

I retired to the area from Wisconsin where I had a great dealer experience. Consequently, I was worried about finding a dealership that would equal what I had previously experienced. Their service department exemplifies customer service, and delivers the kind of high quality work that exemplifies Mercedes Benz. Sammy Hood is an extraordinary service advisor. He treats me like I am his only customer. Recently,I decided to trade my CLS 63 for the new S-class. What a great sales experience. I was offered a fair price for my trade, a great deal on the new S-class, and a selling and delivery experience that was professional, thorough, and as good as I've experienced in 40+ years of car buying. John Armstrong walked me through the overwhelming technical features of the new S-class and in general, made the purchase process enjoyable. He is honest, thorough, fair, and a class act. A great dealership in every respect.
