If I could go to a negative star rating I would. I bought my 2021 Ford Bronco Sport from Capitol Ford in Apriol 2021. Sales experience was great. Service after the sale seems to be an issue. The Quick Lube seemed to be ok, mostly. I had my oil changed in Texas after driving there for a funeral. My next oil change I was told I needed a new oil pan because the bolt had been stripped. It would have been helpful if they could have taken pictures, etc to document this info. The dealer in Texas didn't want to pay. The first service advisor I worked with was Tim. He was absolutely no help at all. He just kept saying that if Bob Tomes Ford in McKinney TX would not agree to pay if would be my responsibility. Richard- service advisor and Victor- service manager got my vehicle taken care of after fighting for almost a year. Awesome, right!!! WRONG! When I picked up the Bronco I noticed that it was louder than normal. Especially on take off and acceleration. It sounded like an exhaust leak. Took it back; they couldn't find anything. Drive it and see how it does. Took it back again. This time they did find that the catalytic converter was cracked and they replaced it. Great!!! NO, it was still making the same noise. Well, we don't know what else it can be. Supposedly 4 techs looked at it and could not find anything. They loosened something and tightened it back?? I didn't understand that part, but maybe it would solve the issue. NO, again!!! Took it back again!!! Dropped it off on July 30th and it's still there. Richard was on vacation so I ended up with Tim again. He is very polite, but I swear he doesn't know what he's doing or talking about. He always has an excuse when you call him because he hasn't bothered to call you and it been 3 days since you dropped it off. THEN, he tell you it was just assigned to a tech or the tech is out that day and it will another day or two. He said the water pump was leaking, but they still didn't know what was causing the noise. I asked about the turbo, but he said they ruIed that out. I said ok at least get the water pump fixed. He offers to get me a quote. I said I have the Ford Premium Maintenance package AND the Ford Premium Warranty for up to 85K miles. My Bronco had a little over 60K when I took it in. A week goes by with no contact. I call again. This time he says they still don't know for sure what the noise is, but we need to get the water pump replaced. I said I told you last week to do it! He said he would get me a quote. I reminded him AGAIN the warranty etc I have. I also asked about the fuel injectors. I am on one of the Bronco Sport groups on Facebook and some people mention it. I also got the recall letter for the fuel injectors. Tim said that he didn't think my vehicle was on that recall. He said only"certain" vehicle had that issue. Well my letter says my Bronco has that issue!!!! Then he told me the tech thinks its the AC compressor. And that's where we left off last week. SO, it's supposed to be ready tomorrow. I don't know what if anything has been done to it in these past weeks. I am beyond frustrated with Ford in general because of the quality, but even more so with Capital Ford for the horrible service and communication.
