My family have been doing business here for life and always had great experience until now. Me and my mother were looking to buy a vehicle and we had picked the vehicles we wanted. My mother was set to purchase hers and due to late afternoon and only one finance clerk it was set for us to return the next afternoon to come pay for hers and pick up my choice for a test drive that the sales person had detailed for me. When we arrive the sales person told me that another sales person had requested the keys for that vehicle and said if they did not have any money on it that he could not hold the vehicle. Now keep in mind three sales person and a sales manager all new I was coming to pay cash for my mothers vehicle and pick up the second to test drive for purchase. Ryan, Tim, and Dwayne all were aware. Mr. David Zeigler said he apologized but the policy is if you don't have any money down on the vehicle that basically anyone can purchase it. Now remember three other sales person new I was coming to pick up the vehicle that day. So you can imagine how dejected I felt learning this the day I'm suppose to pick up the vehicle. This is what happens when sales managers are focused on quotas and not the customer. I could have went anywhere and expected this type of Custer service and disrespect but not here. So if meeting quotas and poor customer service is your goal you are meeting expectations. Thank you, Angela Shoun Linda Simmons

All the negotiations had been completed ahead of time and the purchase agreement that was presented to me at the dealership was exactly as we had agreed upon previously. We drove from Atlanta to buy the 2008 Ford Escape we saw advertised on Autotrader for sale at Everett Chevrolet. We were pleased to find that the car was in good condition and looked as pretty as it's picture. It took a little longer than we would have liked to actually buy the car considering we were not financing it, but overall, the experience was very easy at Everett. Our salesperson, Jason Crooks, could not have been better. The drive home was smooth and uneventful.

Great salesperson, truth in advertising
It was worth the long drive from Atlanta to Hickory, NC to buy this car. We were looking for a 2008 Ford Escape XLT, sunroof, w under !00,000 miles, a clean carfax report, no damage and all for a good price. Everett Chevrolet in Hickory was the place to find the things. Not only that, we really liked our salesperson: Jason Crooks. The dealership was not pushy, sketchy, or selling a different car than that which was advertised to us.

When purchasing my vehicle 03/06/2013, I was given an...
When purchasing my vehicle 03/06/2013, I was given an AutoCheck Vehicle History Report which stated the car was clear of accidents. With this information I proceeded to purchase the vehicle. I recently went out to trade the vehicle in at a different dealership (02/07/2014) and they ran a CarFax history report and found that the car had 2 more owners and has been in 3 accidents by the previous owner all of which the AutoCheck did not state. The dealership said they could not trade it because of this information and to go back to original dealer to try to get this worked out. Upon arrival, I presented my case to the Customer Service Manager. She made copies of both AutoCheck and CarFax reports and advised she would research to see what can be done to rectify the situation. On Monday 02/10/2014, I called and the CSManager was not present but a Sales Manager was aware of the situation and was ready to assist. Once i arrived, they had a vehicle similar to what I was wanting and offered it for a test drive. Test drive went great and they showed me the AutoCheck report which was clean. I then asked for the CarFax which turned out it too was previously in an accident!! I declined the vehicle and talked to the Sales Manager to get my situation cleared up. She said there was nothing she can do and deferred me to wait another day and talk to the CSManger again. Tuesday 02/11/2014, I went back to the dealership and the CSManager stated that they could not rectify the situation to what I wanted but could try to get me out of the vehicle by buying my car at Trade In value with no accidents ($15,000) and carry over the negative $7,878 into another vehicle. I then also declined this offer as not what I was looking to get out of the situation. They stated that I would still have to give $5000 out of my own pocket to get me out of the negative in which they put me with a previously wrecked car knowing that there is no where else I can go and get the same dollar amount for the vehicle. -- -- -- I would like my car payed off completely ($21,878) as it was sold to me under false pretense and a refund of the payments and maintenance done throughout the year so that I can use that for a down payment on another vehicle. I would not have purchased the vehicle to begin with knowing the fact that it was wrecked and used as a Fleet vehicle. I would simply like them to take responsibility for there actions and since they stand behind AutoCheck History Report, they should accept the the fact that it was wrong and correct the situation.

Great buying experience!

This happened when a very determined salesman Mr. McPherson contacted me via email. I live about 2 hours away from the dealership. To start with I didnt know so much about buying a truck that far away. After I realized how hard it was to find what I was looking for I decided to go ahead and capitalize on the deal. Mr. McPherson bascially took care of everything via phone and email I didnt even haft to go to the dealership. The truck was delivered to my house! I can not explain how great of a experience I had with Everett Chevrolet. The easy transaction made the sale!!!!!!!!

Mike White was extremely personable and professional which made my car shopping experience extremely easy. I visited multiple dealers but appreciated Mike's honest and friendly approach without hassling or pressuring me into a purchase. I would recommend him to anyone shopping for the vehicle brands carried by Everett. Justin Phillips handled the paperwork and financing side of my purchase and was also very cordial and informative. He made it a very smooth and quick transaction which I appreciated given my work schedule. Thanks guys and I will definitely be back for my next vehicle!
