I purchased my car at Mazda of Knoxville/Twin City of Knoxville. I decided to get the package for oil changes included in my car payment. I have taken... my car to the dealer for service 3 times. Two out of 3 times I have had my car towed due to they did not correctly change my oil and I had minimal oil in my car. The first time I was advised that the oil leak was due to they could not properly empty the oil the second time was due to they did not know how to place the plug in my car correctly and broke a gasket connected to the plug. I was not offered a loaner car or any compensation for spending an our an half of my time to get my oil change incorrectly and the next day with my car being out of service for them to fix it. I was advised that they could not warrant my car or help me out because they could not predict the future. I take pride and work hard for my vehicle in which they have caused more damage to my car.
Had excellent service, the new service manager David Ott is absolutely excellent and answered all my questions and concerns and made it very simple for... me to understand. He really shows that he cares about his customers. I would highly recommend this service department to anyone who wants reliable service and honest workers.
Made appointment for my service. Left my work two hours early and fought my way through traffic from Oak Ridge to Knoxville , only to be told that they... could not service my car today. What a total waste of my time, and the worst customer service experience I have experienced in a long time.
I dropped my car off on Thursday night prior to Memorial Day weekend. This is significant because the service dept was closed until Tuesday. The service... rep called back on Friday evening with the news I needed $1400 worth of repairs for my AC to work and that he would need to order the parts and to expect Monday at the earliest. I needed to check to see if the part was under warranty so I wasn't able to call back that day to tell him to order the part. As the car was drivable and the earliest the parts could possibly be there was Thursday, I went to pick it up so I could get back and forth to work. I spoke with the Finance Manager Saturday afternoon to see about getting the keys and he simply told me he could not help me because no one was there that could access the service dept. The car had not been worked on and yet I couldn't have my car. This is unacceptable. So unless you get there before 5:30 Monday-Friday you will never be able to get your car back?? Will someone please explain this to me? Every other dealer on earth can help on weekends and evenings while the dealership is open. Oh, and I was told they don't do curtesy vehicles even though I saw several when I dropped my car off. I was told to check with Enterprise ($179) for a rental. They lost my business and anyone's who will listen to me.
Mr. Bledsoe, I'm terribly sorry you had such an unpleasant experience; please know that several of the issues you mentioned in your review have been ...addressed and although, it can't fix your previous experience, I do hope that you'll give us another chance to earn your business.
I have owned many vehicles including Cadillac, Corvette, Nissan, Mustang, Dodge, and some I cannot remember. Out of all the car dealers I have dealt with... Mazda Knoxville was absolutely the best. There was no pressure from sales for anything I did not want to do. As a matter of fact I was surprised and very pleased with the price and financing of the trade that I got. This would not have been possible at another dealer. Thank You Matt and everyone at Mazda Knoxville for your great service. Lastly for the gift to charity and my gift bag no other dealers ever do.
This was my first time buying a new car, and Mazda Knoxville provided excellent support throughout the entire process. I had done plenty of research online... beforehand about several cars, and heard great reviews about the quality of the dealership, so I checked it out to get a feel before buying a car down the road. Matt Lawson explored options with me, explained the process, and was able to track down the car that I was looking for. Matt helped to get me a great deal on it, so I ended up buying that day, much to my initial surprise. It's a beautiful car, and I'm looking forward to plenty of years with it! This was the EASIEST place to buy a car from. I've been shopping around for many weeks, talking to salesmen all across Knoxville, and with almost no luck... at finding the car I desired. Most salesmen will try their hardest to have you immediately fill out paperwork, and get you in a vehicle, pricing it almost 50% more than it's actual cost. This was not the case at Mazda Knoxville. I drove 2 hours from KY to purchase here. Called all my local dealers and their "ball park" estimate for my trade was either insulting or their willingness... to negotiate thier price was non-existant. Mazda Knoxville offered me an amazing deal over the phone. Matt L. worked with me to ensure that I was totally satisfied even before I drove to see the car. Will never buy another Mazda in KY and will call Mazda Knoxville before anyone else at my next purchase. Thanks for a great experience.
