Steer clear of Gurley Leep.
Steer clear of Gurley Leep. They don't care about their customers after the sale. My parents had this same experience some years back. I worked with Ken Klein while purchasing my Nissan, and I was initially happy with my experience. Only after my purchase, did I find more scratches on each side of the car, which had been hidden, because the car was filthy and covered in salt. If someone is test driving a car, it needs to be clean!!! The man who helped me sign all of the paperwork said that my title would be sent in the mail. I waited patiently until the temporary plate was closer to expiring, and called Ken. He told me to check with the BMV, because it would be transferred to them. The BMV hadn't received it and Ken said he would look into it, and personally call me back. Days went by and I'd heard nothing, so I called Ken again. He asked if I'd gotten his text, which I had not. It turns out that he had the wrong contact number for me. I was very upset that he didn't follow through and call me, as he said he would. I had to call approximately 5-6 times to follow up about not having received the title for the car that I had paid for, in full, at the time of purchase. This is completely unacceptable. I followed up with the sales manager, Connor, because the BMV charged me a late registration fee, because my temporary plate had expired. Three or four days later, and I haven't received a call from Connor about being reimbursed for that fee that I received because of Gurley Leep's tardiness. I purchased my car in early December and have yet to receive my title. Hopefully this review will keep someone else from making the big mistake of purchasing here.

Working with Veronica was a good process.
Working with Veronica was a good process. She’s knowledgeable and very easy to work with. We had some questions after the purchase, and she was very helpful in getting those answered. Definitely would recommend working with her if you’re buying a Nissan in the South Bend area. However, the process prior to working with her was not great. We walked in and got a salesperson who was very new on the job. I think his 2nd day. Instead of him shadowing a salesperson for a while to learn what he needed to know about Nissans, they just let him loose on the floor. He knew nothing about the car we were looking at or about Nissan’s policies related to warranties, financing, etc. We would’ve been better off just googling for answers. Please. Train your employees before letting them work with customers. He did get snitched salesperson to help answer our questions, but he too was unable to answer basic questions about the differences between different models. Really happy we landed with Veronica. If you go to Gurley Leep, be diligent about who you work with.

Hi David! We appreciate all feedback, but we also uphold a standard of respect and professionalism in our interactions. It's unfortunate that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we must clarify some points for transparency. Our team conducted a thorough inspection and, as we communicated, identified the throttle body as a potential issue. We provided a quote for our recommended Nissan-branded part, which aligns with our commitment to quality and reliability. However, we understand your decision to pursue a more cost-effective option. Then you brought the vehicle back to us. Subsequently, during the service, our technicians discovered additional concerns, including with the ECM. It's essential to address each issue systematically, starting with the primary concern to ensure accurate diagnostics and efficient resolution. Despite our clear communication and efforts to accommodate your preferences, it's regrettable that you became agitated and directed your frustration towards our staff. We understand that car troubles can be frustrating, but it's essential to maintain civility and respect in all interactions. We stand by our commitment to providing professional service and assistance to our customers. If you have any further concerns or questions, please feel free to contact us directly.
It also wasn't what you said !It had a blown transmission! So just keep guessing and charging people.Im glad I found someone with a brain I also look forward to seeing you in court!
