Several weeks ago, I was in for routine maintenance after which they offer a free car wash. When they brought my vehicle out, I noticed black spots on the hubcaps on the driver’s side, but it looked like smeared dirty oil and I thought it was either that or someone was sloppy with whatever they applied to my tires during the car wash detailing. I figured it would wash off in the rain. We had a really hard rain a few days later, and afterwards I noticed the black patchy looking spots were still there. I decided I should get something to wipe the substance off, but as I was getting ready to do that, I realized there wasn't something on the wheels at all. What was actually going on was the gray powder coating was peeling off in patches revealing the black metal underneath. It was at this point I realized all four wheels were damaged and peeling. I wanted to make sure I hadn’t just missed seeing this damage before, so I pulled up the video Bob King sends to customers when the vehicle first goes back to the service bay. Sure enough, the video showed close up views of all four tires and every one of them was intact and had zero damage. No peeling whatsoever. I called the dealership and they told me to bring it in so they could view the damage . After looking it over, the service manager and the person who oversees car washing employees said they couldn't figure out what had happened to the wheels. They also claimed at that time that they don’t even touch wheels/tires while doing their car washes. This tire claim was a lie and was the first red flag for me that they were going to try and avoid responsibility. I knew it was a lie because I had seen the menu for car washes posted in several places inside the service advisors’ area that very day, and even for the most basic car wash it said that they did clean the wheels and tires and apply ArmorAll. I left the dealership that day with the service manager saying the matter was above him and he needed approval from a higher up to authorize a repair because it wouldn't be cheap. It wasn't just a matter of popping on a new set of hubcaps; the actual wheels are painted, and the vehicle would have to be taken somewhere to have that done. While waiting for them to get back to me, I started to get a bad feeling and decided I should go back and get a photo of the car wash menu. I went in recording with my phone the following day. Curiously, the menus, which had been posted in several places, had suddenly gone missing. The advisors I spoke to (without revealing why I wanted to see one) hunted for the menus at each of the stations and throughout their area. They were confused because they knew they had been there previously and said so on camera. While I was doing this recording, I saw the service manager I had spoken to in the distance, and I believe that he either saw and recognized me and saw I was recording, or the nervous employee I captured on camera told him why I was there, because before I could even get home he called me to say they were going to make sure and get my wheels taken care of. This service manager said he wasn't sure what method they were going to employ to get the wheels repainted, but because they didn't do it on site he would have to find a company in the area that did it. This was on a Friday afternoon, so he asked me to give him Monday and Tuesday of the following week to call around and find a place, but said one way or another the wheels would be taken care of and they would also provide me with a loaner vehicle while the work was being done. A few days have turned into weeks and they will not return my calls. Thank goodness I have video evidence of how my wheels looked before and after and of the call during which they told me they’d do the repair. I had hoped to avoid small claims court, but I can’t let this rest. I've called around for an estimate myself, and I'm getting a price of $650. No doubt that cost is why they've reneged on their promise.

WARNING: Please don’t waste your time going here for any service that isn’t an easy fix. Communication is horrible. Had my car for two weeks. Manager Dennis informed me that without the p0420 code the recalls wouldn’t have been triggered to begin with. He understood I cleared my codes trying to make repairs. He said he would make sure my car gets fixed even if he had to drive it around until the code came back… that they had 15 motors in line to be replaced because of this campaign. Well now Dennis is no longer there, and my car isn’t getting fixed. Having it towed to get the catalytic converter replaced even though their repair action is supposed to replace it… Mechanic Scott said I put lawnmower spark plugs in my Kia and that’s the problem….They definitely are not….advisor Melissa lack any sort of communication skills. Mechanic Robert said he would write down the codes when I took it in for recalls on 4/28…That was never done either. Then they wanted to charge me $250 for a diagnostic fee that should have been done for the repair action…. Double dipping… now I owe no fees because of Dennis but back to the same situation I was in before bringing the car in. UPDATE: Called on Saturday Tiffany stated they told her they drove it around the lot to make the light come back on and it just didn’t. I towed the car to another mechanic. There was a 2 mile difference from when I got my first report back and when the other mechanic got it. So no way it was driven around like stated. My new mechanic stated that when he changed the Catalytic Converter the internals to the old one have wedged themselves in our exhaust system…. Now onto a muffler shop when this should have been handled by KIA.

The service department is a nightmare. Took my car in the morning and was told that it would be ready in the afternoon. Reached out at five hours but no response. Seven hours later, I received a call stating that they were "backed up" and haven't even looked at my car. I was told they should have a diagnosis by 11. This is extremely unacceptable.

No time wasted. Very clear communication and all the paperwork along with vehicle was ready when arrived. Very friendly staff and no pressure at all. Especially Tristan Matthews.

This was the worst experience I ever had at the service department. I took my vehicle in because it cut off at the stop light. When I dropped off my vehicle I was told that she will call me back later with an update. She never did. I called her and she told me it haven't been looked at. I asked for a loaner but they didn't have any. I called every day asking about my vehicle and was told the same thing. After keeping my car for a week She calls to tell me my car is ready. I never been treated like this in the past. If my vehicle wasn't still under warranty I would never go back. If I knew how long it was going to be before I got my car back I could have made arrangement to get back and forth to work.

I believe the service department attempted to lie to me about services I did not need. Told me I needed a new battery and that mine was at ZERO battery life. I knew they were full of it and had it tested elsewhere at two different places. Battery was at 100%. I have no proof but I also think they disconnected my.license plate lights to try and get me to fix them but I said no. Another dealership found connection inside panel was unplugged. Beware, this is not the first time they attempted to deceive me as it happened years prior as well.

Service is waste of time. Too much process no production. They take Pictures/make videos/offer many words but no actual service of any kind!!! I had a 10:45 appointment for an oil leak at 4:00 they had not even started. When I told them I wanted my keys I'm leaving I was asked if I wanted the car washed! I couldn't even speak. Anyway, there was way more insanity to this visit but suffice it to say I'm done with Bob King Kia Service Center!!! By the way this was not my first experience like this!

I received the best customer services from Yudit for couple of week. I will continue to come Bobking Kia for service on my car. She always gave me up-to-date in reference to my car, she always returned my calls. She's a great listener. She's not a rood customer service, She's is very friendly, focused and flexible. She doesn't rush into any decisions. She checks with her supervisor when she is not sure of something. She is calm and friendly.
