volvo or subaru?
decision I had to make....always liked the Volvo dealer---have had two---but the cost was high....always wanted to buy a Subaru Forrester....price better, but would I like the service department as much as I liked the Volvo dealership? Hmmmm. OK the ladies' room isn't as n{ticketno:[8003809488]}ice as the Volvo one; the snacks aren't as good; but I get the same great service with friendly, helpful staff and the safety rating on the Forrester was great and the service department is wonderful. Everyone from Rebecca to Wes to Floyd to the nice technician who fixed my trunk (common 94 Subaru complaint) when I just dropped by one day. They are so helpful and pleasant. So far into ownership (9 months); absolutely no complaints and I would make the same decision again: to buy the Forrester.

I bought my 2011 Kia Sorento from Pence Kia new in 2010. It now has 70000 miles on the odometer and Pence's Service Department has taken care of it that entire time. Gary and the tech crew have always been professional, on time, and thorough. The sales staff matches that with product knowledge and a caring attitude. Least helpful and Most expensive KIA Dealership in Richmond
My family's KIA Optima broke down (battery died) on a Friday night and was towed to this dealership for service. Dealership acknowledged Friday night that it was there and said it would be completed by COB on Saturday--after all, its a battery! Service manager called one family member Saturday morning saying that he didn't know if it would be finished by Saturday afternoon, but he thought that it would be. I called at 4:00 on Saturday afternoon expecting to pick it up and the manager stated that he wouldn't be able to--replace this battery--until Monday "or Tuesday!" I requested alternative transportation and he declined any assistance or problem solving ability whatsoever, with QUITE an attitude. I typically use Pearson KIA across the river and if they ever have to keep my car overnight for a repair, they provide an Enterprise Rental at their cost. When he raised his voice to a yell is when I got off of the phone, called back and got a (female) service advisor to cancel the scheduled maintenance we had requested along with the warranty work and battery replacement. Customer service was SO POOR that AAA and KIA Corporate each offered to tow our vehicle from Pence to Pearson at their cost--which we took them up on. When I called back at 4:30(ish) to tell them that the car was being moved, their office was closed and their staff had left, yet the website and their auto answering system report their hours until 5:00 on Saturdays. The icing on the cake was when the service price for the oil change, tire rotation, inspections, etc. from Pence was almost *triple* that of Pearson. We will NEVER come back to Pence and sincerely regret not doing our research (check the online reviews, people!) before choosing Pence KIA of Midlothian.

Great experience with Pence
I just bought a new 2014 Rogue from Pence. This is my 4th car purchase with Pence over the years, and I keep coming back due to their excellent customer service and prices. Everyone has always been extremely nice and helpful without being pushy. I highly recommend them and would definitely buy there again.

LOVE MY ROGUE 2014
I brought my Rogue Nissan a few weeks ago. Everybody was so nice and friendly. I got not a great deal....but an EXCELLENT one. Management was straight-up..to the point and no time was wasted in giving me the deal I desired. After I signed on the dotted line..... time was given to me as to how the equipment worked inside and out. Mike Miller did a SUPERIOR job as a salesperson.
