Write a reviewI’m not sure, this is the same dealership since the service manager, Tony McMahon has left the service has definitely gone down. I brought my truck in for a cold air intake install and for my parking sensor is not working. They install the cold air intake without checking to see if it Had any error codes, I was told everything was working fine and they couldn’t replicate the sensor issue. As soon as I left the dealership, the error message came across my dash screen showing the exact problem. They don’t even test drive your vehicle once it’s been serviced to verify that the repairs are up to code. I had to take my truck the next day to Ted Britt Ford where they diagnosed all kinds of issues that should’ve been flagged when I had it in the Service Department at Purvis Ford. The truck had an active recall that I was never notified of. I have brought this to the attention of the management and was told someone would give me a call to discuss and address my service issues but to date no one has contacted me so to me. If you value your expensive high-end vehicles, do not take it to Purvis Ford for service because they will not fix your vehicle the right way I will not return to this dealership due to It’s lack of full service and the unprofessionalism.

Dealer lists delivery and freight on the sticker, discounts the sticker then adds the freight charge back in. Basically doubles the freight and delivery.

We have bought cars from PURVIS (along with all my children) for over 30 years. NO MORE ! We were on the list to purchase the new Dark horse mustang, in the Blue for a year. First on the list we were told. Well, the call came that 2 mustangs arrived, and I was beyond excited. John the manager tried talking us into getting the black one, I said from the get-go I wanted the blue. He kept saying that the resell value on the black would be better. It was not for resell value, I wanted the blue, I waited for the blue. We knew from time we were put in the list that blue may not come, and we had to accept that. But when we found out it was coming, I told him awesome that we would be down that day. He then sends me a text that he took a deposit on the blue one. What?!?!? He knew a year ago I was waiting on the blue one, but also knew that PURVIS did not know what colors they were getting. We were excited to find out that the blue was coming, and then find out that they took a deposit on it!!! I was livid. I asked him from day one about putting a deposit, and they told us that we have bought so many cars from them that we did not need to. Looking back, I should have made them take it. They knew what they were doing. They had a family member or friend that wanted it, even though we were on the list first. Never again will I purchase from them. I am in the middle of purchasing another mustang from Sheehy in Ashland, they will get my business from here on out.

My cruise control quit working. Took us 2 weeks to get appt. Then was told the system forgot. They had to reprogram it. I have had vehicles for 15-20 yrs and never heard of this. My car is only 5 yrs. So therefore was not covered under warranty. When you call service you can?t get anyone on the phone. You have to make appointment online and it?s always always 2 weeks or more out. Even for a oil change.

I mentioned a coupon on the phone with my service advisor, who told me to bring it in upon drop off. I did so, and it was noted on the drop off paperwork. It was also noted on the detailed receipt when I paid, but the amount was not taken off of the total. Although I mentioned it to the cashier, she told me to call the service advisor. I did so, and she asked me to send an email reminder the following day, which I have, along with calls or emails every day, which have all gone unreturned. When repairs are thousands of dollars, a 10% coupon offers significant savings. Mistakes happen, so I am less concerned with the initial gaffe, but horribly disappointed with their reaction to it.
