Great bunch of ladies to work with

The whole process was very relaxed and pleasant. I've never been able to describe a car buying experience that way. Laurie was very patient with me, answered all my questions, and let me work through picking the best vehicle for me. I really love my new car.

Easiest/best experience ever!

Everyone here was so friendly! Laurie was the most personable sales person I've ever worked with! This process was so easy and painless and I got exactly what I wanted! Plus, I didn't feel like I was on a conveyer belt! I wasn't rushed and felt special! Thank you so much!

Bait and switch

Made the mistake of driving out from st.louis. I called ahead to make sure the vehicle was there and was referred to Laurie (the sales rep I had been talking to about the vehicle). We did a test drive and we're ready to sign paperwork with a pre-approved loan. We were told we would have to wait a bit while they detailed the car and she got some paperwork going. Finally she brought us to the office only to tell us they "accidentally" gave a test drive in the wrong vehicle and the one that sat on their lot since late November had amazingly been sold the day before. Total waste of our time. I will be telling everyone I know to stay the he'll away from this dealership. -Jeff

Jeff we understand the frustration but your description of what happened Is not completely accurate. We had two Hyundai Santa Fe models. A sport- the one you had the quote on, and a different trim level- the model still in stock. Same color exterior and interior. Simple mistake on behalf of our staff and for that I apologize. We did in fact deliver the sport on Friday but on weekends it can take a day or two to come off of the website. I can assure you that no one on our team would intentionally "bait and switch" you. We have been in business for over 33 years and we don't need to deploy those sort of tactics to succeed. What happened is unfortunate and I am sure Laurie felt horrible, but making the implication that we are dishonest or that any of this was done purposely to trick you is just way off base. We are a dealership. We sell vehicles every day. That vehicle had been reduced recently and there were several parties interested in it. None of this makes your experience any more pleasant, and we understand that. I am assuming that based on your review you would never conduct business with us, but we do have access to other Santa Fe Sports with similar miles and equipment in that price range and we would be happy to help you find one. He for me into a car I can afford in no time!! My granddaughter was surprised and so happy to have a brand new car!!

Very low offer on trade in.

The staff was super friendly but unwilling to negotiate any on the trade value they offered on my truck. They claimed that since they were offering me the best deal on the new Expedition that they could only offer low trade in. I feel this probably happens at this dealer all the time and can not in good faith recommend to any stranger/family/friend this dealer will take care of their needs.

Hello Shopper 221. We appreciate the feedback. Our business is changing. When we research, survey, ask our customers what they like and dislike about car buying our customers always tell us that they hate the "back and forth" that goes on at the dealership. A little secret about us- WE DON'T LIKE IT EITHER! So over the last couple of years we have sought to eliminate pain points in the car buying process and make it easier. The reaction has mostly been favorable- we are selling and servicing more cars than ever, but there are still some who like to negotiate. The truth is that what matters the most when trading is the trade difference. It's true, if we offer a rock bottom price on our vehicle as we did here for you, we can't over allow or inflate trade numbers above what the market dictates we should pay. We feel that a real number for ours and a real number for yours is the best, most transparent, most fair way to conduct business and we are confident that our clients will not find a lower trade difference at any other Ford dealership. This is also why we offer a $1,000 best deal guarantee. It can be confusing, and it does not always seem familiar compared to the way you may have bought cars or traded for them in the past, but the truth is if someone gave you more for your trade- you probably paid too much for their vehicle.

We went in, found a vehicle and bought it. No hassle, and no beating around the bush. Laurie was very nice and engaging us through the whole experience.

Great customer service

Chris was great to work with and very patient!! When I first arrived, I had time to look at the cars on my own without feeling overwhelmed. Once I found a couple that I liked, I was introduced to Chris. He went over everything in full detail and kept me informed at all times. Once the purchase was complete, he made sure I understood every aspect of car before I left the lot. I never once felt rushed or uninformed about anything. I also want to thank Jamie for going through our financing in such great detail and not just handing me a stack of papers to sign! I will return here for all future purchases!!!

Great service!

We had an awesome experience at Jack Schmitt! Travis was great! He answered all of our questions, was very personable, and was not pushy at all. We were very comfortable while talking specs and numbers with Travis. He's the type of guy that makes you feel that you're old friends. We had no intentions of purchasing today, but with such a great deal, we couldn't pass it up! Thanks to Ben, we are in a brand new Ford Escape, and paying less per month than we were on the 2014 car we traded in. Sweet!! Thanks everyone....we'll be back!

Wonderful Transaction!

Everyone at the dealership was extremely helpful in getting my deal done. I would like to give kudos to Laurie Hinton. Not only was she incredibly friendly, she demonstrated in depth knowledge of the vehicle she was selling. She knew EVERYTHING about my vehicle, and answered my questions before I could even ask them.
