2021 Ram transmission needs replacement
Leased a 2021 Ram. Salesman was good. Did not even make first payment and the transmission went. Very difficult to get answers. Calls are not returned. Horrible way to treat upset customer. The motto is trust transitowne. This experience has been unbelievably awful. Rob in service will not return calls. Will not pick up when you call there.

We are sorry about your truck. It is brand new and the transmission broke. Happens almost never and we regret it happened to you. We stand behind our customers. Transmission is ordered and will be replaced, we have you in a rental vehicle until then and for your trouble we are giving you a hitch and your first payment. It has been a hassle for you, and we hope this helps ease the pain. We appreciate your business.

Highly dissatisfied
Inquired about a vehicle they had listed online. Received a call right away and set up a appointment for 9:00a next morning. Told them several times I would be coming from 2 hours away just to look at this Truck. Got there at 9a just to be told that they sold the truck the night before. Unbelievable. No phone call or nothing. Walked out upset. When I was looking for this truck I also noticed a truck identical at a dealership down the road with 5000 more miles for exact same price. So down the road I went to Basil GMC Ram and purchased a 2019 silverado LD LT Z71 midnight edition (same identical truck with 5000 more miles) for $3000 less. When I shared my story of my experience with Transit town to the salesman at Basil (Gavin, who was absolutely excellent) he wasn't surprised. I still can't believe they did that to me...I mean if I'm coming from 2 hours away, chances are I'm going to buy the vehicle. Couldn't tell other interested party that inquired about the truck that they had someone scheduled to look at vehicle and if I didn't show or didn't what the vehicle, then call other interested party that vehicle was available?

Chris. We apologize for this. It was an error in our inventory system that did not show the vehicle as sold. It's fixed now, but unfortunately it cost you a bit of a hassle. Again, we apologize.

2021 Ram
February 16 2021 leased a 2021 Ram. Salesperson was very good. 1 payment in and the transmission went. Very upset. I have to do all of the reaching out to the dealership. Absolutely no one has reached out to me. Vehicle was towed there. Heard nothing until we actually stopped in to transit towne west Seneca. Was told that they ordered the one month old vehicle a new transmission! No one from the dealership called us. We found this out when we stopped in. No one followed up in the next couple days to say that the transmission was ordered and they are hoping it comes arrives in approximately 5 days. I found this out when I called our salesman. Have not heard anything further. The brand new vehicle sits in the back of the lot and i am making payment on a one month old vehicle that broke down on the thruway. I am truly disgusted with the vehicle and the dealership.
