I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Smith Chevy. On April 7th at 10 AM, I brought in my 2024 Chevy Blazer, which is only 2 years old with just 18,000 miles, for an issue with the bumper that should fall under a bumper-to-bumper warranty. I was told they didn’t believe it was covered under warranty and that they couldn’t fix it. No alternatives or solutions were offered to me at that time. Wanting a second opinion, I took my vehicle to another Chevy dealership in Rexburg. Within 10 minutes, they confirmed the issue is absolutely covered under warranty and are now taking care of the repair. After that, I called back to Smith Chevy and was then told they don’t handle those repairs in-house and send them to Young Auto Body. This was never mentioned during my original visit. If it had been, it would have saved me time and frustration. To make matters worse, the manager I spoke with was dismissive and came across as rude when I tried to clarify the situation. I expect better communication, transparency, and customer service—especially when it comes to something as straightforward as a warranty issue. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location.

I had an excellent experience with the service department at Smith?s Chevrolet yesterday. My car had no heat last week, and even though their schedule was already full, they still made room to get me in. From start to finish, the team was professional, kind, and efficient. They diagnosed the issue quickly and had my car repaired much faster than I expected. Being able to get back on the road with heat again was such a relief. It?s clear they truly care about their customers and understand how important it is to feel safe and comfortable in your vehicle?especially in Idaho winters. I highly recommend Smith?s Chevrolet to anyone in the Idaho Falls area.

The service I receive, consistantly exceeds my expectations. I arrived with a burned out headlight and was told that the repair might take 30 to 45 minutes, depending on how quick they could get a technician freed up from another assignment. I don't think 20 minutes had passed, before I was handed my keys and told the repairs were complete. The service staff is friendly especially kyle , efficient and always makes me feel like I am their top priority. Great job.

Smith Chevrolet was the least motivated and unprofessional place to make a sale I have ever encountered. I contacted them about a vehicle that I wanted to see more photos for as there was only one on the listing. The guy I spoke with never sent me photos and only wanted to try and push a sale. I had to contact another salesman to get photos and was told that the rust present was "normal and expected" on a 4 year old vehicle. It appears to me they are a bunch of dishonest people that try and sell junk and refuse to send photos and push the sale anyway to try and hide problems and deceive people. Looks at the other negative reviews. John Lake, the business manager, contacted me after a few days of radio silence and was threatening me when I expressed dissatisfaction with his employees. All the way up to management this place is a joke. I will not ever be buying from Smith Chevrolet and I will do all that I can to steer anyone I know away from them as well.

I feel they are honest with me. Their concierge pick up the delivery of my vehicle for service is a great plus. Good communication with service personnel

Very satisfied with my oil change but I had an issue with my car that I had brought up at the beginning of my visit and on a previous visit for an oil change as my car is under warranty I thought the part had been ordered on the last visit apparently it had not been. I really hope it was ordered this time I stood at the parts department until she said where the part would be coming from. Then I confirmed I wanted it and the car was under warranty. The lay at parts said she would order it at the service rep confirmed so I really hope that happened
